I noticed further down the listing that it says "£10-12 per hour pro rata (we pay by the word)" did you find out any more info on what that payment is [member=1811]eros[/member] ? As that will change everything!

This post on Netmums suggests they pay 1p/word. I have no idea if that's good or not!

Man alive there is some right dross in the 'working from home' section on that site - it's like the blind leading the blind with some of those answers

Sort it out [member=277]Chammy[/member] ;)

lol sorry for the delay, yes it is 1p per word...shocking! but apparently the amount of people willing to write for peanuts is the reason they can afford to pay monkey food for ones services . I put down that i would prefer 3p per word, but it is still low, never mind...onward and upward ;D

Over an hour I can type 7,800 words+. I earn more than 1p per word for all the writing that I do.

With editing typically I can write 2,000 words in about 30 minutes. My writing isn't award winning though but the people who pay me seem to like what I do :)

Most of the work I do is through an individual who runs a content writing company, I literally do ALL of his content writing, so he doesn't actively recruit :-*. A little of the work is through Karma Content, which I found mentioned on TMS :)

Some of the work she does is through [member=976]Scott@KarmaContent[/member] who was kindly offering work out to people on TMS who wished to do some work for them

[member=1811]eros[/member] I actually emailed [member=976]Scott@KarmaContent[/member] months before work was available for me, so it is worth finding his original thread and sending over an email :)

I would say that I've been working with Scott for a few weeks only and so far the work is varied, and interesting. Scott is friendly and pays quickly too. I've had no problems whatsoever :) This is only a very small amount of the content work that I do but the other work is mostly what I fell into, a friend referred me when she couldn't keep up with the workload and then she passed away shortly after. So she did me a huge favour before she passed away as I've made £1000s since.

I condense my surveys down into a small amount of time each day and run numerous at one time :) Cuts the boredom down, also I don't do the smaller paying surveys and pick and choose based on what is available each day.

Thank you, was over 2 years ago now so not so bad but was a shock as she was only in her 30s and just started with a cold! Scary really but such is the life. She was a great friend when alive and helped me get started on my moneymaking journey. That's why I try and help others really :)

Here is the original thread :) http://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?topic=2360.msg21866#msg21866

Best of luck to you x

.1p per word is not great but if you can write at a decent speed I reckon you can earn a reasonable hourly rate. I guess it also depends on the quality they accept

Just look at all those people on fiverr willing to write 400 words for $5 ($4 in their hand) which would be a fair bit less than 1p per word.
