Smartphone Apps Chip? opinions?

Hi,
I downloaded the app but am really hesitant (I have a cautious nature!) about doing anything with it. Anyone else got reservations, how do we withdraw money and do we have to have a certain amount in for a certain time. I just can't find the answers?

I've gone for it, Its only take £6 for my first save which is fine, I was worried about it squirrelling too much and me going overdrawn!

I've installed it too, very impressed so far-really easy to use and I can see how savings would mount up quickly! It only took £7 for my first one.

I've been using it for a while now (long before the £10 sign up promo) and I love it.
In settings you can select whether or not you want to allow Chip to save when you're in your overdraft, and also your savings level (so whether you want to save a small amount (1) or go for larger saves (5)). Mine is set at 3 currently. Withdrawal is really easy, I think it takes about 48 hours and it goes straight back into your account.

They're FCA regulated and your savings are held with Barclays.

has anyone got their bonus. I have contacted them today (got to wait until monday) as mine has done 4 autosaves and no bonus showing despite using the code and following the instructions. Anyone else had problems

ah perfect, its due start of feb then. Brilliant, I really like the app. Is withdrawing money as easy?

Yes simply use withdraw option and it applies it to your account sometimes same day. Been with chip for a few years now!

Ok, I need to find the way to stop withdrawal from my account when needed- it saved a bit aggressively for me although my setting is level 3.

If you feel the algorithm is calculating saves a little high go into in your saves and adjusting your 'saves level' down, you also have the option to 'skip automatic saves' for a time.

Update: 1st auto save: £7.53
2nd auto save: £15.74 - A bit aggressive. I was expecting similar amount to my 1st auto save amount
Total auto saved: £23.27

Awaiting my £10 sign up bonus next month.
