I work from home on Leapforce and other one off projects from the likes of Appen. The work is not as plentiful at the moment so am thinking of other ways to earn some extra money to top up my wages. I used to do a lot of surveys and Swagbucks etc but don't really bother anymore. Anyway as I need to give my earnings a boost thought I'd give it a go on here. Not sure what I'm going to do but I need some motivation and thought this might help. I keep thinking of trying Matched Betting but am a bit scared so that's a possibility. I will try and update this once a week.

Think you meant to tag [member=3720]clairecc[/member] [member=1]Jon[/member] ! I agree though, sounds like you're very similar to me [member=3720]clairecc[/member] (not just with username!) I started off with leapforce and surveys but have been going with the matched betting for 4 or so months now and it's great! I was scared before too but as long as ypu follow thr instructions it's fine and is actually quite good fun. Good luck!

Matched betting always seems scary, that is what put me off initially, however, once you get started you'll see the video guides and the text guides and you'll be kicking yourself for not starting before!

This is a fantastic time to start matched betting as the football is on again and the offers are good!

Thank you all for your encouragement. I've got a bit of time tomorrow so intend to have a look into it and see what I can do.

Well I've had a good look at Matched Betting today and I've managed to get part way through the Coral offer, had my £20 free bet credited but as I already had a Betfair account with a deposit limit of £10 per month I can't go any further as yet. I set a higher limit but have to wait until the 15th for it to kick in (no idea when I opened this or why I set this limit - must have been for a cashback many years ago). Anyway I've started the process so am quite pleased about that. Now to look at some other ways to get a bit of cash.

Great stuff [member=3720]clairecc[/member]

Only thing I can add is if you don't want to wait until the 15th then you could use another exchange like smarkets.com

I did this and I used an offer in the premium section of PA :)

Thank you will have a look at smarkets but I do get easily confused so might just stick to Betfair.

I find smarkets (and matchbook) a bit easier than betfair to use...they generally have less markets available but as long as sticking to main markets isn't usually an issue. Also they have lower commission rates than betfair (smarkets 2%, matchbook 1.15% compared to betfair 5%)

Sorry for not updating for a while. I picked up some extra audio work that has kept me busy. I've also revisited the Appen crowdsourcing work that I don't really bother with anymore and got that up to the cash out amount. Been trying to do the YouGov surveys which I often don't bother with and I'm not far away from the £50 cash out. Still doing Leapforce but work is still slow.

I've had more success with Matched Betting than my first toe dip. I am about £75 up (this would be more but I paid for the annual subscription to Profit Accumulator and my profit has paid for that too so it would be £225). I have started using Smarkets but haven't had a look at Matchbook yet but thank you for the advice.

Life just seems to have taken over lately - I've also saved myself some money by re pointing my drive myself, it all adds up and is helping through these lean months. I am going to get more into matched betting, give the guides on PA a good read and do a proper update soon, I promise.

Just a quick update. I'm plodding along with the Matched Betting, I really don't give it as much time as I should and don't even do one every day but it is slowly adding up, I've made another £90 since my last update so after paying £150 annual subs to PA I am £165 up. It would be a lot more if I put just a bit more effort in though. Life's settling down a bit now and I am away next week so hopefully I'll get into it more when I'm back.

I did try one of the risk free Bingo offers as well and ended up with a £6.30 profit from that but I haven't counted that yet as it hasn't hit my bank account yet.

I'm owed about £390 (depending on the exchange rate) for my transcription work from August and September which is a bonus but that's come to an end this week. Hopefully something else will turn up after my holiday.

The work at Leapforce has picked up a little but still a bit hit and miss.

Good luck everyone with all your moneymaking.

Right well I've been lazy since my holiday got into bad habits and need to have a word with myself about it with Xmas looming on the horizon.

I've put a few items onto eBay. I've done most of the easy Matched Betting so need to knuckle down and spend a little bit of time on it now and invest in a little reading up, I got into a nice routine before and need to get the enthusiasm back.

The YouGov surveys seem to have dried up at the moment, I'm just 165 points away from withdrawing £50, I read on here that you might get offered more if you do some of the polls that don't pay so might do a few of them and see what happens.

Anyway that's me, need to pull my socks up and get on with it. Good luck money making everyone.
