Has anyone ever worked for Crowdworkers? I have been offered a position and their Glassdoor reviews seem to be very positive but... are they too good to be true?? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

They do "chatroom moderation" and pay 0.10€ per message. The minimum commitment is 12 hours a week, 8 of them on Saturday or Sundays (can be split) and Mon-Fri 1am to 9am but you can work up to 40 hours/week as long as those minimums are met. These hours actually work very well for me, and I don't think reaching about 100 messages per hour is too difficult as I can type pretty fast on the computer, so it should be about 10€/h.

I love that the first email I got from them is saying that some of the messages I would have to answer may be... flirty lol I kinda was expecting that! I don't mind as long as I can boost my earnings TBH...

You should have seen the staff we had to reply to for ChaCha / 63336 / Bongo!

And that wasn't even an 'adult texting' service!

I can't wait to see what these messages are all about to be honest.. I love having a laugh! I am seeing a lot of good reviews online so hopefully someone in this Forum can give some feedback as I trust you guys way more!

If it is legit, and it pays OK-ish... I am happy with that!

As someone who used to answer questions for ChaCha at 3 PENCE A TIME let me tell you the pay rate + question traffic is EVERYTHING!

I'd forgotten about ChaCha. I used to work for them, they got rid of me cause my work wasn't good enough apparently, but then went bust in the UK shortly afterwards

Wondered how this was going @georginauk as I was looking at it too.
I haven't started yet as I am thinking if t is worth it or not... I was asked to commit to work weekends and night shift: Considering I already have a full time job I am not sure if I can commit to the 16 hours they require as you must work from a computer, not from a phone! If it was from a phone it would be different, as I can do this from my sofa or the train but not sure if I want to spend that many hours overnight or on a Sunday in front of my computer...

Yep... I don't know! I think I have too much going on at the moment to commit to this, so maybe I will leave it in the back burner until later in the year?

Is it actually SET HOURS as apose to 'you need to do 10 hours across the week' type thing?

Kinda! You need to do 20 hours across the week: 12 of those must be Saturday or Sunday and the remaining between 1am and 9am.

I work in an office Monday to Saturday, 8 to 6: I am the Business Manager, therefore have flexibility and can work from my office during those times, that's why I applied to this job as I can work from my computer during the times I am here, but if I must commit to the 20 hours during the one day off I have or overnight I don't think I would last to be honest. I do this because we want to move back to Spain and therefore I need savings, but I already have a job that covers the bills and puts food on our table, so I don't want to stretch myself too thinly for the sake of a few pounds...
