Kinda! You need to do 20 hours across the week: 12 of those must be Saturday or Sunday and the remaining between 1am and 9am.

I work in an office Monday to Saturday, 8 to 6: I am the Business Manager, therefore have flexibility and can work from my office during those times, that's why I applied to this job as I can work from my computer during the times I am here, but if I must commit to the 20 hours during the one day off I have or overnight I don't think I would last to be honest. I do this because we want to move back to Spain and therefore I need savings, but I already have a job that covers the bills and puts food on our table, so I don't want to stretch myself too thinly for the sake of a few pounds...
yeah I can see how those hours could be tricky to fit in. When I used to work for 63336/Bongo you could just login and do as little or as much as you wanted but they only paid you each month once you had reached a certain financial threshold but there was never any pressure on us to login and work.

Well, maybe the only exception was when they were advertising during Geordie Shore and the like as then the question queue would go INSANE!

I just applied to this and got accepted. I'm going to give it a go for a month. I spend most of my weekends sat using the free wifi wherever the daughter is practising or competing anyway so may as well make a few ££s out of it. I've emailed back saying I'm still interested but asking what the average worker earns and how many messages they average per hour. No harm in trying. Will let you know how I get on.

Yes, please! Let us know :) I am still quite interested but the working hours are just a no-no for me right now.

I've had all the paperwork through now. I need to scan the hand signed documents in to email them so will do it on Friday, when I can get to a scanner. In theory that means my training will be next week and I can start earning almost straightaway.

They said most native speakers send about 90-100 messages an hour so it could be good money. The hours aren't great but my daughter just reached the competition squad so my Saturdays are spent doing that now. At least this will give me something to do instead of sitting bored.

Exactly! I have sent in the paperwork for a different company based in Poland: their pay rate is a bit lower but they are flexible with the hours as long as you send over 700 messages per week. I will give it a go for a couple of weeks and see how it goes... if it is worth it I will report back!

Someone told me today that Cloudworkers are not very strict with the hours, they just word it that way... if it is true and within a few weeks you find they are flexible with their requirements will you please let me know so I can send in my paperwork again? Their pay rate is better than the one I am going to start working with now so it would be worth it!

It`s a dating app/ hook up type of thing. You are acting as a fake profile and people text and send pictures of their junk and share their sexual fantasies. Filth.

Stay away!!!!

If you're comfortable with that sort of thing, which given that they tell you this upfront, most people moving forward with their application will be, and they pay, what's the harm?

Aye no harm if that's the work you want to do.

Honestly, the amount of crap I used to churn out to people texting into ChaCha, Bongo, 63336 when I look back at it was CRINGEWORTH!!

They are very upfront and tell you straight away what to expect, they are not scamming anyone! I gave up after a week, though, after finding out a man had been having a relationship with me for over a year... I felt bad because he was a good man and I was not comfortable knowing I was not who he thought I was but hey, to each their own!

Do you mind me asking how much you made in the week you worked with them? I'm considering it again for some supplementary income. Feel free to drop me a PM if you don't want to discuss it in the thread.

I don't mind discussing it openly but the answer is disappointing... nothing! I did not reach the threshold to be paid as I already saw that I was not comfortable with it therefore I did not want to "waste" more time in it. Sorry I couldn't be of much help!

No I totally understand. It's a shame you didn't see any pay off for the time you did invest though, very frustrating. I know you had mentioned applying with another company earlier in the thread - have you knocked that one on the head since you weren't keen on this one? Can I ask who the company was.

Of course! it was a Polish company but I can't find their emails! Let me PM you with the lady I contacted on FB as I saw her posting about the job and she explained the rates etc.

I'm working for them as well. I don't feel comfortable with it either but unfortunately I've just become a single mum so I really need the money now. Until I can find something else I'm going to have to keep it but as soon as I can I'm dropping it. In any other circumstance it would have been gone almost as soon as I started!

The pay is pretty crap to be fair but it's boosting my income enough at the moment to mean I can just about survive alone. I average about 50 messages an hour so about 5 euros. I do my set 12 hours and then when other work is quiet I'll log on and see what there is.

Now have a Son in Law, and have become the 'dreaded' Mother in Law. Many congratulations to Hazel and Matt who got married on 10th August, at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth, North Wales. It was a fab weekend away and the most unconventional but personal wedding ever!

Messing around with Wordpress Themes FAR too late on a Sunday night!
I knew staying away from domains wouldn't last forever - just bought another one (or two)! :D
