Hi everyone,

Basically, I am quite aware of the Bet365 offer with the risk free bet if your horse wins.

Well, it just so happened that my horse did win but it doesn’t update your winnings for a while? At least, not when I kept checking.

So, because it wouldn’t update and the next ITV race had started I wasn’t eligible for the free bet on the next race?

Has anyone experienced this issue? The winnings have been credited but this was far later than the last ITV match?

Was it the Scottish Grand National? Sometimes bets can be slow to pay out on big events as there are so many transactions to go through.

Personally I would have placed a bet on the follow up ITV race anyhow and taken the issue up with Live Chat if the refund didn't process. As you've not placed a bet though, I don't think there's anything you can do about it :(

Luckily. It was only a small qualifying loss but is annoying nonetheless: I might still try live chat though to just see what they say because does seem unfair if your horse did, in fact win.

Thank you for your response though :)

'In regards to how this offer works. When you place a bet on one of the races that comes under this offer and your horse wins at 4/1 or greater then you will have a risk free bet on the next race within the offer. To use you risk free bet, you would need to use your own money and if the bet then loses you will be credited back the stake.'

I had no idea that's how it worked!!! You have to place another bet like normal with your own cash balance! I swear this isn't mentioned in any of the PA tutorials?

Yes, that's exactly how it works. That's what I meant when I said I would have just placed the next bet and if the refund didn't hit, I'd chase afterwards.

It's not a free bet, it's a risk free offer. You get refund if your follow up bet loses.

Their offer does buck the trend as most offers do refunds via free bets, so it is a bit more complicated. However PA do mention this in their tutorial so it's probably worth giving it another read if you missed it the first time (https://www.profitaccumulator.co.uk/bet365-horse-refunds/)

"Then place a £50 bet (using your own money) on that horse and lay it "

Yes, I definitely see the logic with this now.

Does that mean that profit is only made when your Bet365 bet loses?

No, because when you place your risk free, you're Laying it as SNR.

If the bet loses, your Lay wins and Bet365 give you a refund. If the bet wins (which incidentally, as long as also 4/1, would qualify you for another risk free too in the next featured race), you still make a profit because you have underlaid it meaning you've not lost as much money from the exchange as you would have if it had been a normal back and lay. So the profit is the same whatever the result.

Does that make sense?

Yes it does, it’s making more sense the more I go over it.

That’s definitely a good offer because then if you lose it’s almost like a double refund.

Thanks so much for your help though!
