Hope you're all good and safe.

Missing even just putting a BTTS accumulator on at the minute! I had a thought though, you think there's some of the bookies out there currently regretting gubbing their users? Every penny will be counting for them just now.
A de-gubbing spree is just around the corner!

I bring you more good news!

Virtual Grand National to 'cheer up the nation'
Don't throw away that Grand National sweepstake kit... because a virtual race will be held in place of one of the UK's biggest sporting occasions.
The National, held at Aintree and first run in 1839, was cancelled earlier this month because of the coronavirus outbreak.
In its place, 40 of the runners will take part in the virtual version, which uses CGI technology and special algorithms.
It will be broadcast by ITV at 17:00 BST on Saturday 4 April - the day the National was planned to run.
The special broadcast will also pit Aintree legends Red Rum and Tiger Roll - who this year was bidding for an unprecedented third consecutive win in the famous steeplechase - against each other in a 40-horse Race of Champions.
"We want to cheer the nation up and ask the computer if history could have been made," says executive producer Rob McLoughlin.

Wouldn't mind a bet365 4/1 offer on that

Jesus on a bike. Thought I'd heard it all.

Please, please, don't let us see anyone foolhardy enough to rush to 'take a price' on the Virtual National!

Anyhow, it should be entertaining. Would be interesting to know which computer algorithm will decide the race - and will there be any fallers? because usually virtual horses never fall.

Tiger roll vs red rum is the one where the money will go

I imagine Matt Chapman will have a field day with this!

Not matched betting related as such but the racing post newspaper appears to have collapsed on Thursday

They're stopped printing the paper for now. Apparently it's retaining an online presence, I've heard that a final decision is being deferred on the print edition.

My grandad would be turning in his grave!! Can’t remember a time I visited him as a child when he didn’t have channel 4 racing on and a copy of the racing post in hand!!

Profit Accumulator have put out some interest figures about the money to be made by the switch that bookies are making by focusing on Casino offers at the moment

I didn't want to make a new thread for this question because it kinda fits here.

I've been doing casino cashback offers with TCB and Swag Bucks for the past month so I'm already signed up to most of the biggies and couple of the less popular names.

Is it worth me signing back up to Profit Accumulator now? I was thinking they might have some good casino tips or deals, but are they all for new users only?

Bookies seem to have hooked into casino offers for existing customers at the moment so there is plenty of money to be made

Profit Accumulator are also currently offering 14 for £1 again at the moment but that offers ends on 1st April so if you want to give it a go why not pay £1 and see how much you can make :)

Side question : why did you sign up to bookies via SWAGBUCKS? Is there some major income there that I’m not aware of??!!! Don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone doing that before!

Thanks Jon. Right I'm gonna do this tonight!

If you have a look at the Discover section on there they have a few decent gambling sign up offers (I'm still new though to cashback type stuff so you might know of something better). For example if you sign up to Gala Bingo through them and play £10, you'll get 5000sb. The sb credited instantly on my account and I won £20 on the bingo :D

5000 is worth $50 in Paypal vouchers, which is about £40ish atm. So I spent a tenner and got £60 back. Not bad! I've had over £100 from signups on Swagbucks this month.

Betting on virtual Grand National to benefit NHS
Like a flutter on the Grand National? If you do, bookmakers will offer odds on the televised virtual race, which has replaced the Aintree event - with all profits made going to the NHS.
A maximum bet of £10, either on the winner or each way, will be allowed, says the Betting and Gaming Council.
The National, one of the UK's most iconic sporting events, should have been held at the Liverpool racecourse on Saturday.
Forty of the runners which were set to take part will instead feature in the virtual race which uses CGI technology and special algorithms.
It will be broadcast by ITV at 17:00 BST on Saturday.
