Couple questions about MB: withdraw, secure MB

Hiya!

I've been reading a bit about MB and I have a couple of questions...

Since MB uses offers from bookers, I guess you have a minimum amount of money to bet on before being able to withdraw, so I was wondering how long did it take for you to be able to get your original bet + benefits withdrawn?

Also, I understand the concept of putting two bets against each other, but is this always risk-free? For example, in a soccer game, you have win team a/tie/win team b. How do you secure earnings in those cases?

This concept of matched betting has really grasped my interest, but I want to be able to understand it better before jumping on it!

Many thanks

Tama

Someone will explain better than me but if you bet for team A to win at the bookies, you lay them not to win at the exchange,
and with a draw/tie team A doesn't win so your exchange bet wins.

Its early days for me with Matched betting and I'm slowly building my exchange money, you do need to invest at the beginning and I'm taking it slow but I have made money and it is working.

Hi @Tamara Dominguez Poncelas

You can withdraw any amount from the bookie so don't worry about that. Withdrawals generally take a few working days (less for PaddyPower + skybet I find) and obviously they are instant if you 'lose' into the exchange as the money just goes straight into your betfair account.

With your risk free question

You bet on team A to win at the bookie
and you bet on the result being anything BUT team A winning at the exchange (so a draw or a lose)

so every possibility is covered

you always bet on something happening at the bookie and bet (lay) that everything BUT that will happen at the exchange
