Hey,

First post so be gentle with me. I've been using crowdology for ages and it works really well (bit time consuming but I use it on trains so passes the time).

The only issue is, it's only on a web page and so sometimes it can be a bit hard to use. Does anybody have any similar apps that send surveys as much as this does but are an actual app?

All suggestions welcome :)

Hey @KiloGolf

First off, FANTASTIC to have you on here and posting!

The only survey app I can think of is Quickthoughts as I used to use that many MANY moons ago on my iPad

Hi there, I've got an app called OpinionAPP which has Crowdology, Opini and Usability Testing Panel on it once you have registered to each of the websites. Also it allows you to click on PANELS on the bottom left then you can see the current balance of each of those panels. It tells you how long each survey will take and how much they are worth. If screened out it will search for another survey. hth.

Also have you got OnePulse, Citizenme, AttaPoll and Surveybods apps?
I haven't but I think I'll try that opinion app you mentioned as that is basically how crowdology works but it's not always user friendly. Thanks!

Crowdology is disappointing in my opinion - very few surveys and quite low paying. Have you joined Populus Live or Opinion Outpost? Both of these work on mobile devices. Populus one of the highest paying whereas OO has a lot of surveys (worth spending the time filling in the many MANY demographic questions).

I think Crowdology is awful tbh, lots of technical issues, poor website and took months to reach £4.
I find Ipoll and surveybods have good apps. Ipoll seems to have the same surveys as opinion outpost but has a higher payout threshold.

Oh really? I don't make much from it but it pays out enough for how much I do! I think I'll try Ipoll then - is it an app too?

yeah iPoll is an app, just make sure you double check what their payout threshold is as from memory I think it is quite high!

It is £25, however most of the same surveys are on opinion outpost and that has a threshold of £2.50(they are pretty much the same).

I like Crowdology due to very low payout threshold. Ipoll is ok but surveys are usually too long and you DQ plenty of time before you get one and each time you have to answer same questions before getting the next survey.
They used to have well-paying tasks, I liked it more back then!

Is anyone having any issues with Crowdology? I have recently emailed them and got no response. I have had to change my log in details (no idea why), have emailed them again but I get this message....Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong somewhere (404 ) Please contact support@crowdology.com if this problem persists. All my earnings have disappeared and no surveys are showing. I see from the earning diaries that people are still earning so seems to be my account in particular they are playing silly beggars with.

Hi hanna-obrien-79.

A similar thing happened to me a while ago. I had been using Crowdology for just under a year then suddenly I couldn’t get access to it anymore. I constantly reset my password but that did not work so I emailed their support address. This is the reply I got back.

Dear An-na,

It appears that you have unsubscribed from Crowdology on 30th June 2018. If you do not recall doing this is may be that you've accidentally marked an email from Crowdology as 'spam' or clicked the 'unsubscribe' link in the email by mistake. These actions will automatically unsubscribe your email address.

Unfortunately we're unable to reactivate an account that has been unsubscribed due to regulations to prevent spamming. If you sign up to Crowdology again and let us know when you have activated the new account we will transfer over your rewards from the old account.

Kind regards

Crowdology

I absolutely did not unsubscribe on purposes or accidentally from Crowdology. I have a long email trail showing all my communications and their answers which I do not think were written by a human. I suspect a bot. They denied that I had ever sent a particular email on the date I was asking about and I sent them 9 screenshots of the email trail with the dates showing that I had emailed them. They also denied that my email address existed even though I was using it to communicate with them.

I also have a screenshot of the exact same message as you have written.

“Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong somewhere (404) Please contact support@crowdology.com if this problem persists”

I went back and forth with the same messages from them and got nowhere so I gave up. I don’t like tech support which does not have a contact name as that means that there is no one who takes responsibility for dealing with a problem.

Good luck trying to sort it out. Keep going for a bit longer but don’t waste too much time on them.

I use this and I have Triaba, You-Say, Panel Champ and CFS on there as well. Much better than going to loads of different websites. Didn't know about usability testing.
