Hi hanna-obrien-79.
A similar thing happened to me a while ago. I had been using Crowdology for just under a year then suddenly I couldn’t get access to it anymore. I constantly reset my password but that did not work so I emailed their support address. This is the reply I got back.
Dear An-na,
It appears that you have unsubscribed from Crowdology on 30th June 2018. If you do not recall doing this is may be that you've accidentally marked an email from Crowdology as 'spam' or clicked the 'unsubscribe' link in the email by mistake. These actions will automatically unsubscribe your email address.
Unfortunately we're unable to reactivate an account that has been unsubscribed due to regulations to prevent spamming. If you sign up to Crowdology again and let us know when you have activated the new account we will transfer over your rewards from the old account.
Kind regards
Crowdology
I absolutely did not unsubscribe on purposes or accidentally from Crowdology. I have a long email trail showing all my communications and their answers which I do not think were written by a human. I suspect a bot. They denied that I had ever sent a particular email on the date I was asking about and I sent them 9 screenshots of the email trail with the dates showing that I had emailed them. They also denied that my email address existed even though I was using it to communicate with them.
I also have a screenshot of the exact same message as you have written.
“Sorry, something seems to have gone wrong somewhere (404) Please contact
support@crowdology.com if this problem persists”
I went back and forth with the same messages from them and got nowhere so I gave up. I don’t like tech support which does not have a contact name as that means that there is no one who takes responsibility for dealing with a problem.
Good luck trying to sort it out. Keep going for a bit longer but don’t waste too much time on them.
An-na
