Just to add:

  • When translating 'okay' use the spelling OKAY (this wasn't mentioned in the new rules at all)
  • When translating numbers, for whole numbers 79, use the hyphen seventy-nine (neither was this)
  • When the audio is speaking on numbers and the accent to describe 0 is said as 'oh' remember to stay in context so use ZERO (this directly conflicts with the rule that you must transcribe exactly what you hear!)
  • Mission will now close on the 30th June* (so that's another month without payment?)

So annoyed about this. I read yesterday in this thread that we didn't have to change "ok" to "okay" so I stopped doing it. I've just emailed them about it as I'm guessing I'll be penalised for that.

Yes I was doing them on Crowdville only because they are worth 1p extra for the same tasks, but I'm not so sure now. It's all a bit of a mess, but I'll stick with it in the hope it's teething problems.

Something with this Crowdville didn't sit right with me from the off.

They are worth 11p and Neevo is 11cents. Is that rivht?
The validation tasks are $0.04 direct and £0.035 from Crowdville. So Crowdville does pay more for those. I don't know for correction tasks, only they're £0.11 on Crowdville

Ah sorry yeah I meant the correction ones. CV never seem to have any of those validation tasks available for me anyhow.

Yeah, sorry, not had those available to me on my personal account, so can't say. I think the validation tasks are always running out because of the huge difference in effort and validation rates of the tasks. I have to login to my personal account to do them since I've been blocked on Crowdville, but I do get lucky sometimes and get a run of them. Funny that though, blocked on Crowdville, but close to 1.5k on my personal account, go figure

Same for me- blocked on CV but still going strong on Neevo. I also think its an issue with CV, so many invalid tasks but yet full payment from Neevo?

I've not been paid by Neevo, but if Pete has been paid fully I'm hopeful. I'd be interested to try the correction tasks direct and see how many return as invalid then. I get the feeling it would be far fewer...

Kenneth - I'm not sure if you're aware but the site was also running the same task on their own at the same time.
I've just found out that I've been paid by them (finally) - 539 tasks - all correct.
Something is certainly wrong here
Hey, yes we are aware they are running jobs separate to us. From what I understood we partner with them to receive a number of tasks for a certain length.

How similar or different are their own tasks to the ones you do with us?

for clarification, there were new rules from may 23, and then when they put up new tasks along came new new rules, to clarify my language below

-the hyphen rule has been listed in every instructions we've seen and passed on to you guys, and in our faq. i think its not in the new new rules because i think they were an add on to the new rules
-my opinion on the 'oh'. me personally i would of always used zero for this, simply because the context is numbers. however you're thinking here does have weight, its a little confusing because its a question we forwarded to them, but was not answered.
-Initially we were told that okay ok is all ok but then the new rules and new new rules didn't mention this going forward instead they mentioned to continue to use 'okay' so i would go with this/ the issue with this was that a user on the platform turned everyones focus to the okay ok dilemma, meanwhile the new and new new rules mentioned to use 'okay', its unfortunate but some followed the new and new new rules, whilst some waited on an answer rightfully, but again there was a delay in clarity/
-yes the extended contract was always the 30th as closing but we were told they estimated at the work rate we would finish by 11th, but with the upload of thousands of new tasks for UK, we are following the contract, but it can closer earlier depending on if all tasks done

are you able to email this to us. example the number of tasks completed and pass rate (as you mentioned 100%) from what you've done with them directly.

support@crowdville.net

I haven't received payment from them so I don't know how many of mine are valid. It was Money Saver Pete that was paid for all tasks completed directly. I can tell you that I have verified my own work though. Well, identical correction tasks to the ones I've completed. I guess I wouldn't be able to tell who it belongs to if it's correct lol

They don't give you a passrate.

Not only that, but without working it all out yourself you won't know the passrate at Neevo even when they do pay you. I got 2 payments from them a couple of days ago for about £60, so I know I got paid for quite a lot, but not exactly sure how many.
