I think it will recover. I've made small investments in Litecoin and Bitcoin and although it went down dramatically, it's gone right back up today. The whole risk of cryptocurrency investments is that they're volatile and it seems as though we just have to ride the wave!

Sorry my comp froze! I literally had a conversation with someone about this (not the alien part) the other day! He was saying he doesn't like the volatile cryptocurrency market because its raising the cost of GPUs...

I read about this the other week. Worryingly quite a few UK .gov.uk websites are running the code unknowingly

'unknowingly'.... ;)

(in unrelated news, I'm always suprised that large company IT Teams don't install affiliate software so they get paid when people buy stuff from companies. Low/no impact to IT resources but could be a good little earner for someone)

Just withdrawn $600 from my eToro account so let's see how long it takes to come through.

They are a travel card yeah?

I decided to use FairFX in the end as there were a fair amount of negative reviews on Revolut, well enough to scare me off using it lol

I'm here - alive and well :)

I kept adding to my Cryptocurrencies as they were just going up and up. Unfortunately they have dropped significantly recently. I'm not sure whether to just cash out at a loss or hold tight and hold for the best. It is a guessing game after all.

It’s always been too volatile and unpredictable for me personally. Although well done to the ones who bought into it from the beginning and cashed out at its peak! :)

Yeah it just seems to be endlessly heading south now (surely but slowely)

I've seen some right 'experts' all over Facebook over the last 18 months trying to get people to invest under them in very random bitcoin-related stuff.

The whole thing seems to have taken a very MLM turn

If you are generating BC then its all good.

If you are looking to trade in BC (pay cash for BC) then all is bad.

Remember, no matter how cheaply you can buy your tech, there are BC farms in countries you can’t imagine, the size you’d not believe, where they don’t pay for the electricity and have these things running 24/7.

I think the BC bubble burst when ‘traditional’ investors thought they could make a quick buck. Price could then be ‘pumped and dumped’ which is exactly what happened.

Mind you, my ‘traditional’ shares have taken a tumble but I’m in it for the long time, not a good time! :D

Crypto seems to be having a bit of a flash crash sale at the moment!

Does anyone know what's up with it?
