Hi Shedders,

A week ago my Curious Cat app stopped giving me a point when I was screened out. These points can add up quite nicely, so I emailed them.
If anyone else is having the same problem here is their reply to me. Hope this helps explain what is going on.

As many of you have noticed, we’ve changed the way in which we are allocating points; we’re currently trialling a new scheme to improve the long-term health of our community.

However, we haven’t made a decision yet, and we would like your opinion! Shortly, you’ll receive a task in your offer wall asking for your thoughts on this and other matters. Keep your eyes peeled!

I was just complaining about this yesterday! Thanks for sharing this with us all! I was getting quite a lot of points/pennies from them when I was screened out of surveys, so am not enjoying them disappearing!

I'd noticed the loss of the screen out pennies too. It wouldn't be so bad if the surveys didn't screen out so often. I only manage to complete about one in ten!

Oh same! I'd noticed this, and as I get screened out of most of them (grrr) those pennies were adding up nicely

Yesterday I went on about 5 times, and attempted every single survey, must have been nearly 30 in the end, and each time they would screen me out, or take half of my information, and then screen me out. It's been like it for a couple of days now, I could have made almost 60p! Lol

The survey was up today for how they should pay people to participate in the future. Shows as a 1p survey. They had a couple of different options in it but I voted for giving 1p payments for each screenout. It's one of the best things about the app!

I'd noticed this too and so have many others - who are generally not that happy!. Think it would have been a good idea if they had told us they were trying out a different way of doing things!

I completed the survey too and voted to keep everything the same as it is. I don't want to faff about with percentages of PayPal payments and non specific e-vouchers.
So I told them at the end to keep the PayPal payments as they are and keep the 1point for screen outs.

Hope you all did the same.

Thank you for trying Andrew, I checked their profile yesterday and it seems they are doing it to other people too, I'm assuming because they don't know the reaction effects a member's rating :(

I much preferred it when it was on device research and you used to get £5 for spotting posters. Ever since it changed to curious cat I have hardly earned anything.

yes, same! thank goodness, was one of the better things about curious cat!
