Deliveroo! Great way to make a bit of extra cash!!

You may be thinking that this is not a way of making money online per say but actually, I think it is. You are your own boss and when you want to make a bit of cash, you just sign up to a shift, get your smartphone out, log into the app and make some deliveries!

Going to pick up deliveries and taking them to their recipient feels very similar to doing a task on Roamler... the work is just more regular and reliable.

I have been a part time Deliveroo cyclist for just over a month now and I have to say it is great!

I love managing my own time and not having to report to anyone and I can take on as many or as few shifts in a week as I want.

It is a great way to keep fit and earn a bit of cash on my own doorstep. This, combined with the work I do on Appen and various different iPhone apps, is keeping me afloat!

If anyone is interested in getting involved (either on a bicycle or motorcycle) and lives in or close to a large town or city then let me know - As a rider we get a small commission for successfully recruiting members of staff.

I do different shifts every week to fit in with my other work.

Could do 40+ hours if I wanted but I usually do between 10 and 15 at £7p/h plus £1 per delivery and tips. I probably average 3 drops per hour so £10p/h unless it's quiet (which sometimes it is).

People in London basically have unlimited hours, smaller places are a little more limited.

I'm lucky in that my house is within the work zone so on a quiet shift I wait for deliveries at home and do Appen work online while I'm waiting to bump my wage up!

Don't want to be negative but in west London about 9 months ago a company offering the same thing went bust and they had about 10 riders who never got paid as it was paid monthly.its going throu the courts now.

I think Deliveroo is somehow established and had a good year in 2015 in terms of revenue but this wouldn't mean they would not struggle in the future of course. So perhaps worth a try

They are a VC funded company who have silicon valley investors pumping money into them like they are printing it. I reckon they'll be alright!

They need more staff in Bristol, they only really service the city centre!
