Enjoy reading your posts. I do not know where you live but up here the car boots start at silly time and its dark and freezing.Bought a couple of items from car boot Sunday. Good that they are starting again. Nice £21 profit today on a vintage test tube rack. Had these before and they always seem to sell.

I stopped going to the airport one for the same reason. Its a bit of a ride but the Wetherby one is brilliant, starts at 8.00am and if you are willing to pay a fiver you can have early access, not tried that myself but if your buying to sell I feel its probably a good idea.100%
Tried going to that one out by the airport and unless you are there at 4am it's basically just random bits of garden furniture and lego left!!
Hi Castro Prefer to keep my links private, but everything I put on here is true.My latest is an old wooden garden type swing. Cost me a fiver from another dealer and who is always expensive, but he was up against the master (just kidding) sold for £25. Boot sale tomorrow so, hope for a few more bits.Dick, do you have an ebay link you could share?
Would love to see these tools!
As always an interesting read thanks for sharing
Sold a load of old McDonalds toys yesterday for £25. Had them for yonks and just wanted to free up space. Also sold electronic kit for 19.99 that cost about £2. It's starting to tick!
Hi HomieOut of interest Dick, do you purely sell on online or do you do fairs and boot sales yourself?
Hi Homie
I have done boot sales in the past, but find it much more profitable to just buy and sell which is all I do now as far as Ebay is concerned. I don't do fairs, but will take a look now and then, but prices are usually too high for me. I did buy a couple of war gaming books at 50p each and sold them for £16. Dealer didn't know they were collectible.
Yeah, I used to sell at fairs but the costs of a table has become too high. Plus you have to commit the whole day to it. I still do the occasional militaria fair but thats about all. Boot sales are a lot cheaper to sell at and dont go on so long but everyone wants everything for pennies.
I still want to go back in time 20 years to when I sold all my Star Wars figures for 25p each and stop myself.
[/QUOTEYes, I remember when carded figures were 4 for a £ and now they are worth a small fortune. I think Yakface is arouns £100.
