There’s a fair few multiple thread in the referral section usually they got merged or closed .. Zilch being an example

Hi James, apologies once again but the referral forum is continually having multiple threads made and such when there’s active or longer threads going on.

It’s understandable for new offers or variances but when it’s the same offer and it’s been posted once before the posts should be in the original thread.

Happy to help if you need extra moderation/help - but I think it’s off putting to new users.

We also have people in the Co-Op thread offering payment for following an offer which is surely not allowable..

Only just noticed that Jon left and it’s been nearly a year. He kept the forum in order. I wondered why there were more spam threads than usual and they weren’t being removed quickly.

I've deleted a few as I still have mod powers. Report them and I'll try and pick them up but it kind of feels a little like I'm fighting the spam tide on my own and so not achieving a good result lol

I know its turning into a webull referral site at the moment i count 6 threads now, must admit its loosing its appeal a bit.

Thanks for that advice. It reduced my new threads from 9 to 4. Excellent!

Once upon a time, if someone promoted something here, it was almost certainly a legit source of potential income. Now...not so much.

My ignore list is longer than a Christmas Eve supermarket till queue.

Great tip! Busy with the ignore button myself. Getting too many spammy posts now multiple posts of the same thing posted everywher!

Such a shame - there's no doubt that this has been the most helpful and 'troll-free' site I've ever been on.

same but the influx of bots and people spamming has made it a ghost town, i currently see 8 threads on the general page due to blocking the spammers
