Since I quit work about 2 or 3 years ago I have basically relied solely on earning from home with the exception of pet sitting and the mystery shopping where you go out. Luckily at the moment I live with my parents whilst I save up to rent or buy a place of my own. Does anybody work entirely from home?

I will come January. I'll just be living off Matched Betting and the money I make from my websites.

@katykicker also does as well, as do MANY others on here....

What things are you doing at from home at the money to earn ya monthly edge?

Great. How much would you say you earn monthly nowadays? I do anything I can really including surveys/pet sitting/ mystery shopping/selling etc.

To those earning online - The BBC news today said UK wage growth has risen to 3.5% for October, that's the highest in nearly 10 years.

Have your on line earningskept pace with this?
I know mine haven't......

a £10 free bet has been a £10 free bet for years, if anything offers have been cut, have more wagering, or I've been gubbed.

Roamler and Be my eye still paying peanuts for lots of bargepole jobs. Streetspotr seems to have died completely.

Populus still on the same payout scale its had for last 3 years
ditto all the testing sites
ditto mystery shopping
pine cone payment has gone down!

I don't blog or do much affiliating, so maybe thats where the money is. Have bloggers seen much increase in what they can earn from affiliates or paid posts at all?

I actually read that article this morning and as someone working in local government who's been under various payfreezes over the years it made me laugh. Basically if I didn't apply for higher paying jobs in the same work place I wasn't going to really earn a great deal more each year.

In terms of Mystery shop / task app pay I can't say as I don't do them. Leapforce still pay the same as many years ago however there is more work available from them. Bongo/63336 continue to pay the same however again there are more avenues with them to get work so it's all quite relative.

Blogging / Affiliate marketing is a tricky one as the bigger your site (and better it ranks!) gets and the more sites you build that interlink with each other the more money you will earn. I certainly earned more in the last 12 months than in the previous years with blogging / affiliate marketing and see no reason why it would slow down as long as I keep diversifying.

I see god knows how many people complain on social media in facebook groups about the fact they have no money and they are complaining in Survey / Clicksite groups and only earning money THAT way so unless you accept you need to swap up what you do to earn money online things are never going to change for you

I dream of working from home and running an online business empire. So far I do about £500 - £600 a month profit from my ebay business. I know I can match that with mystery shopping and roamler/bemyeye as well but for me to work from home full time I'd need to be earning about £3500 a month in order to replace my salary and pension so it's a distant dream currently. But in a few years time when I've paid off my debts it's definetly something I want to do!

I joined this site a little while ago with the goal of making an additional £1,500 per month so I could overpay my interest only mortgage. Then a couple of weeks later I lost my job, not redundancy, I just didn't make it through my probation period. After an initial few days of being extremely angry, I have decided that I am going to go for it in a big way and aim to not only replace that income but to raise it over a time. I have registered my domain name and am setting up my blog - still don't know what I want the theme to be, I just hit on a dot com name and liked it and it was available......... It's a sign!

I tried MB a few years ago but jumped straight in at the deep end without and research and got my fingers burnt and my ego bruised....... Now I am researching MB and getting things set up so I can go for it shortly.

I know lots of people make money online - the internet is full of 'schemes' but I will not get sucked into any form of selling, however they dress it up.

I am confident I can do this. Happily, it appears that if you have a question, someone out there will have the answer or at least will be able to point you in the right direction.

am SO sorry to hear you lost your job. As weird as it sounds sometimes something negative can be the thing that spurs you on in other directions of your life.

Setting up and running a blog! Great stuff, just GIVE IT TIME and don't expect miraces after only 3 or 4 months. Also use Totally Blogging which covers everything for you from setting up the blog through to earning the absolute most you can from it and all information is FREE and not a bloody online PAID WORKSHOP!

MBing : as you've learned take it slow, follow the instructions for each other and you WILL make risk free money each and every time!

I assume by selling you mean the MLM kind (avon, juice+, ann summers, younique, forever living etc.) yes, stay away from all that. No one on here that I know of touches any of it with a barge pole anyway!

I do, sort of accidentally as it happens.

I needed to be able to work from home, and I landed a job as a virtual assistant on a self employed basis back in August. I also pick up work on the likes of PeoplePerHour, Upwork, Freelancer etc and I do proofreading, copy editing and writing on a freelance basis. As it transpires, I recently had to drop the original virtual assistant client, as we weren't a good fit, so now I'm back in the trenches. @Jon I might message you actually, should you need any content/editing for any of your sites doing.

For me they have, in a per hour form anyway. I track my earnings and in the 2017/8 tax year I made similar to the year before BUT I worked a lot less AND gave up some of the lower paying work I was doing :)
