I hate it and it is making me want to give up to be honest. I have my blog as a facebook page so I might just concentrate on the facebook page and give up on the blog. My theme doesn't have a post comment button and I have no idea how to rectify this, I have tried activating other themes and there are then other probelms. It just seems that whenever I want to change something, I get totally stuck. Has anyone else just got totally fed up of this and decided to just have a facebook page instead cause its easier. I dont want to pay anyone to help me at the moment cause all the apps have dried up and I am stuck at home with my Son today and stuck at home every night cause of my husbands shifts. Sorry, just having one of those days, totally and utterly fed up, everything I am doing sees to be going wrong. Really tempted to just do the facebook page for an easier life.

Running a blog WILL always involve a certain amount of technical stuff.

Now obviously the more of the technical stuff you do the more it becomes second nature but if you find it is just stressing you out and you aren't planning to earn from your content and you don't want it ranked by Google then just stick with your Facebook page.

The problem is that I did want to earn from it in the longer term, for me otherwise there is no point to it to be honest. Just so wish that the technical side of it was easier, may have to pay for some expert help but cannot do that this month. Know how stupid that sounds

@OCTOPUS, I know where you're coming from, it's taken me ages to get to grips with the basics of Wordpress so for:).
The way I see it is all about learning new skills which could be useful in our work and personal lives.

I'm not a "techie" at all, I change WP themes about 10 times recently lol, but I reckon it's definitely worth sticking at it for now. Best of luck whatever you decide :)

Don’t let the technical side of blogging get you down. It can be challenging sometimes, but finding the solution to something is always a great feeling, so don’t give up. Once you figure out one thing, more of it comes naturally to you. Also, remember that google is your bestfriend and pretty much every answer you could ever need is online!

Best of luck!

Have to agree with @StellaFrancesca on this one!

I think it's important that if you are going to be a blogger you have to accept there is a certain amount of technical stuff to it.

That might be just buying some hosting or setting up wordpress all the way through to editing CSS so that a page can look or function how you want it.

But like you said Google is always on hand so that days of having to buy book or courses about 'how to run a blog' are very much out of date!
