I am really keen to get this one going but all the affiliate links I've clicked on need a website and I don't have either a website or a blob. Can anyone help. I have a Facebook page ready to launch but now stuck.
Thank you in advance :)

Amazon Associates UK accepted me with a Facebook page. You could always start a free blog to use, but you'd want some content first.

Don't forget people that are doing this that it's not just a case of making a facebook group

you need to ENGAGE with lots of other groups in your niche and even outside it. I would also recommend setting up a twitter account to cross promote your deals

you need people to COME TO YOU and the only way they are going to do that is if they know about you!!!

Indeed, you need to build your network / your community of people and build trust. When people trust you they're more likely to buy from you (or in this case buy through you).

Good advice, will definately try that. I was thinking of setting up a twitter account too, only trouble I dont really get twitter at all so never used it. Need to find a twitter for dummies guide!

[member=728]charlyn[/member] there are lots of guides out there - I tend to think of Twitter as micro Blogging.

I have followed you back on Twitter.

Personally I use an existing one. I often forget to update.

Well this is a great post I’ve been looking forward to. You can build up your social media and share your affiliate links with other people.

If you’ve had some success sharing affiliate links on your social media in the past I would love to hear it! Personally I had a link clicked 3,000+ times in ONE DAY after posting a relevant link on a Facebook parenting group.

Just as a side note - you will want to have an established social media page before you look to apply for brands. Personally I applied for a number of affiliate networks before I had my blog. I created a Facebook page specifically for sharing bargains, spent a few weeks posting deals etc a couple of times a day and then I applied.

This method won't be for everyone
This is a very useful blog which is something I have considered myself, I have heard there is a lot of conversion through Facebook but I wanted to know personally for you have you had much conversion through twitter?

Hi [member=5694]Romell[/member] I get quite a nice amount of referral traffic to my website from twitter. Also, on a day where I post an Amazon link etc I get click through and usually some purchases - so yes My audience on twitter has grown slowly and naturally so I think that helps really. People follow me as they like what I have to say.

Hi, not sure if this is the correct thread to post this in...apologies if it isn't.

Further to my previous post, in the thread, I have now set up a page on facebook in order to build a following and
then apply for affiliates etc.

Would anybody be willing to share tips on building the followers/likes?

Hey [member=2881]LeanneWils[/member]

All you can do on Facebook is really engage with other Facebook folk!

That could be via groups or pages or even just chatting to your friends online and spreading the world.

THERE IS NO QUICK EASY FIX FOR GETTING DECENT FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS.

I say decent because you can go and head over to fiverr.com and pay $5 and get 100,000 fake followers who won't click on anything you promote and won't engage with your page at all.

What you want are not only eyeballs on your page but THE RIGHT KIND OF EYEBALLS.

So maybe 'get known' in groups around whatever niche your page is around and after a few weeks start dropping in that you run such and such a page and would people like to come over.

Spam always get noticed as spam, if you join a group and just go on about your page instantly people will just ignore it. It's the same for people who sign up to TMS and their first few posts is just them trying to advertise their 'opportunities' - no one will take any notice because that person isn't known and so they won't click on their links...

It takes time but with a LOT of dedication you can get there and a lot of people make a LOT of money from their Facebook groups!!

Hope all that helps!

Thank you [member=1]Jon[/member]

Definitely wanting quality rather than quantity. I think I'm doing the right things so far then, I just thought I would ask in case there
was anything else I wasn't doing but should've been.

Thanks again :)
