Hello,

i have been trying to earn money online for around a year now, ive had luck with some websites but not much. i have tried many testing websites, apps, survey webpages and other apps which require you to drive around. the only ones which really helped me and the ones i would recommend are opinion outpost and survey rewards.
opinion outpost- easy to earn points and easy to redeem, the money is always in my pay pal within a day.
surveyrewards- always has surveys but takes around 5 working days to transfer the money.

however opinion outpost is now being weird, i have not had any survey options for over a week.

i have tried loads of new recommendations from people on here but nothing seems to be working, they either dont have any more spaces for people to sign up or they do not have any surveys/jobs available so if any one has any legitimate sites which they earn from, i would appreciate it.

I know a lot of people on here do well with matched betting. I don't go near gambling sites (and yes I know MB is not gambling) so I don't do it but it might be worth a try. Also with a lot of these sites, things can be hit and miss, e.g, on Tuesday I did about 6 surveys on prolific, yesterday 1 and today nothing! And sites that are good money makers one year can die off, e.g, I used to make about £50 from spare5 every month a few years ago and now I make nothing at all.
I funnel any spare cash I make online into things like index funds and peer2peer lending to try and create a more regular alternative income stream so when things are very quiet, I'm not too bothered.
Have you tried Appen or Crisp? People (not me so far) have done well off them if they get picked to do a project.

Hi there,

I'm very intrigued about index funds and peer2peer lending, I was just wondering if you could point me in the direction of some further information please?

Thanks in advance.

Index funds are to do with stocks and shares. Basically you get an account with an investment platform say Nutmeg or AJ Bell or Fidelity and open an account preferably within an ISA so you don't have to worry about taxes. An index fund is a low-cost passive fund that specialises in a particular market, say, UK FTSE 100, it will then mirror the market, buying shares in every company. If the market grows your fund grows and if falls, your fund falls. You also get dividends from these companies which are either distributed or reinvested depending on your instructions.
Peer2peer lending are companies like ZOPA and funding circle. They take your money and lend it out to individuals and businesses, and pay you a decent amount of interest. I think I get about 5% at the moment.
Neither of these are risk-free and I would advise you do some serious research before making any investments. I am not an expert but have been investing for many years and do ok from it. Neither will make you rich quickly in my opinion but are just another way to help diversify your income streams.

Thank you for the detailed reply. Plenty of info to think over there.

I shall have a look around the forums here and also a Google to take a further look into these.

however most of the things i have already tried and didnt work out for me, most of the websites i already have accounts with but they dont work for me. the only opportunity on their which i havent tried yet is match betting and im not sure how to get started, im scared it wont work for me and to be honest i dont have alot of money to start of with right now.

i want to try something that will actually provide immediate pay as im in need of money right now.

Ok so yeah matched betting would provide near enough immediate money right now. You only need around £50-£60 to get started. Just give the banner above a click and do the free trial, you’ll make around £45 risk free and have your hand help throughout and then you can take it from there :)

Beyond that the likes of bemyeye, roamler offer near instant cashouts as well!

Matched betting isn’t gambling, if it was no one would be doing it :)

You can get a roamler code after you get your post count to 10 on here and drop me a PM

What about utest, Appen etc

Or even traditional mystery shopping via the likes of market force

If you don't want to do matched betting, and have tried most of the suggestions people have listed then I'd say you need to either make lots of little bits of money, on multiple sites, or find an offline revenue stream. Not everyone is cut out for the effort it sometimes requires to make money online, or some people don't have the demographics survey companies want etc.

Have you tried Vypr?

I'd also say Curious Cat - you get a point (a penny) regardless of whether you qualify for the survey or not.

It sounds like you are after an 'instant' buck, rather than longer term investment work.

If you were willing to spend some time doing work but not get paid, with a possible pay off, check out the Print on Demand post.

Or, and I hear its the big thing now, you set up some forex Ponzi Scheme and you'll earn 30% of what other people earn. :D
