I've sold 2 things on ebay lately, one last weekend and the other the weekend before. Both people haven't paid yet. How long would you wait before contacting ebay? I've sent the invoice several times but I've had no reply or payment.

If you have sent the invoices several times and had no response then I would contact Ebay.

Thank you. I didn't want to seem unreasonable. I really don't want to risk getting bad feedback as I have 100% good feedback.

I think I'll relist them tomorrow then as its free listings then, thanks OrganisedPauper :)

The Resolution Centre is quite good on eBay.

Luckily I haven't had any non-payers yet, but one poor chap bid on the wrong item by mistake and won it as he was the only bidder. He contacted me to explain and all I had to do was open a case (it's one of the "more actions" options next to the item on your selling summary) and formally ask him to agree that he bid by mistake, which he did. My selling fees were then refunded by eBay.

You would use the same system to formally ask your winning bidders to pay up if you wanted. I've also used it to chase up an item that didn't arrive from a big seller. All were resolved amicably without eBay needing to get heavy.

I've got a dozen or so items photographed and ready to list later today too as it's free listing again :)

Slightly off topic but still ebay related, I've got a few things listed at the moment.
One guy emailed me and asked if he could have one of my items for free as he really wanted it but had no money. Bear in mind it's on at £4.99 start.
I am tempted to email him back and ask if he'd like me to post it to him for free as well. ::)

Lol - that is unbelievable! You see it all on eBay don't you! I suppose you have to admire his nerve.

Did anything come of your non-payers RedAlix? I've got one this week - a new eBayer with no feedback. It's an item of extremely low value, but that almost makes it worse as the selling fees are such a rip off these days.

Does anybody put any exclusions on items they sell eg buyers must have received 10 or more feedback? Everybody has to start somewhere and I've sold a few times to buyers with fewer than 10. One of them was in Greece so I was a bit wary to say the least - but he turned out to be the best buyer I've ever had!

I've reported them both as unpaid and opened cases but they haven't paid yet.

That's so rubbish isn't it. But at least you might get your final value fees back by going through the formal route.

Free listing yet again this weekend. I don't know why they don't just scrap listing fees altogether.

I sell regularly on eBay but now mainly use dropshipping techniques, so I always list the items as "Buy it now" rather than Auction style, so not getting paid does not apply.

Maybe I'll have a go at just 'buy it now' auctions when I try and sell these items again.

Have you tried contacting eBay about this? It's worth trying to get something out of the buyers.
