Funny how the simplest things can bring chaos!!.. Heading out to work last monday, stepped off pavement but ended up having a fall, sharp pain above my ankle, had thought i had sprained something and could walk it off... went into van ..foot on clutch and pressed clutch down...pedal never budged looked down to find my toes pointing to the roof!!!.. thought..oh dont think that is normal...off to A&E and turned out i have ripped my achilles tendon... so, i am in plaster for possibly next 3 months, i cant leave the house, so, cant work..my work doesnt pay sick pay, so will be on ssp for the duration...about £80 a week..sadly the bills dont take a break, so, with MBing being so poor for me just now had no option but to stop my OM subscription and today have withdrawn all money in my bookies/exchanges in order to try keep afloat..also as cant walk, i cant get back out task apping either... only thing left is prolific and populous which only make a couple of quid a week average. so those are the only things i could do to supplement my income,so, i am out!! watch how you go folks...one wee trip can see everything crash around you... thankfully my extra income is usually kept for fun things like holidays, had nothing booked this year,so, still have around 2 grand which will hopefully see us through.

I clicked like, not because I like you've hurt yourself but just to show support. There aren't any other things you can click really.

Sorry to hear you are out of action for so long. One benefit of matched betting at least is its like a short term savings plan as you have money locked away in bookies and exchanges that you can access quickly in the case of something like this.

If you're going to be stuck at home for a long time have you considered something a bit more substantial than just surveys, maybe leapforce etc or possibly look into starting a blog?

Crikey @mabozza

am so sorry to read all this. Rest up (that includes giving your mind time to accept what is happening to you at the moment!) and I'm sure you'll be able to find some other avenues of earning from home if you choose to go down that route!

Thanks guys... yeah once am back on my feet again (literally) i will be starting from scratch again and trying to build things back up, The MBing has all but dried up (the bits that i can understand and do) very few bet X get X footy offers on the go now, Slots is hit and miss, not had any good wins in a while, so cant justify leaving money tied in to bookies and exchanges now that i need it back, Homie i cant do blogs etc, totally not my thing, leapforce i have dabbled around but never really looked right into, might be something.. Surveys are poor fodder but every penny and all (Oddly enough i just did one on Prolific with £10 pay...highest ever, by miles!!.. I will bounce back, but just need be mega frugal till i can earn again, and gonna have to put up with the dirge of daytime TV LOL

Sorry to hear that @mabozza - at least it is just temporary though, so take that as a positive :)

I am partially housebound so have never been able to do any of the task apps mentioned and am similar to you mbing wise, so I TOTALLY get where you are coming from. In fact I am planning on packing OM in at the end of the footie season as I cannot get into it as much as I hoped and I think they are becoming worse as a provider.

Hopefully you will find something else that you CAN do - you never know if might be the thing that leads you into a totally different direction (I am still looking for my 'thing', ha ha).

Good luck, and stay on here for support and inspiration - we are 'family' :)

Why not use some of the time to look into some of the print on demand stuff as mentioned in other threads? Merch by Amazon and KDP. Bobcat started a thread about it last year. Some members of the facebook groups I am on are making a decent amount of money on it!

Hi @mabozza

Have you thought about becoming a CamGirl? They all seem to earn ££££ from just rolling around on the bed!

:D

Hope you recover with no drama. The health is more important than all the other things.

:)
