Hi all!

Hope everyone is doing well, so lately I've been racking my brains on HOW to make my own business, or at least juggle things so that I don't have to work. I know it's a dream, but I am always absoloutely miserable as an employee, recently I've been feeling really unwell from the stress caused by work and I've put more thought into it.

Obviously the Money Shed has awesome ideas already but one thing that I've thought of and found intriguing is laser engraving and/or etching.

I wondered if anyone has any experience of this, and if anyone has any tips on what equipment is best, intial outlay for a machine we're thinking max £300 as this is a new thing and could just turn into a novelty that we do for family birthdays!

Me and my partner have done a lot of reading up, and looking, and think we've narrowed it down, but from many experiences I've found it's always best to ask The Money Shed first!

Any help? - Thanks in advance!

If the personalised gifts market are going to be what you are going after would Etsy not be a better match than eBay?

Yeah probably! I didn't actually think about where to sell things as I'm just at the planning stage. Any tips on engraving machines? :)

Can't help with engraving but have a look at the print on demand thread. Your engraved products will sit well in an Etsy print on demand store without any outlay
