Concentrate on CV - at least 20-30 minutes a day. Within your CV session you should use interval training- this is proven to be the best , fasted and most natural way to burn fat. E.g Run for 1 minute walk for 30 seconds, run for 1 minute walk for 30 seconds etc. Once you find yourself getting used to this interval, step things up slightly. You should be constantly be testing your body- not letting it to 'Plateau'.

In terms of eating- Salad, chicken, avocado, water. 3 times a day- NOTHING ELSE.

if you do the above ill guarantee you that the weight will drop off you earlier than you think.
Will power is needed to do this- lots of people nowadays get too carried away in searching for the easy way out when it comes to losing weight- I'm sorry to say (and im a fully qualified personal trainer) there is nothing on the market at moment (legally) available for this... There are however supplements you can take to aid in fat burning etc- these are expensive and you would need to be taking said supplement everyday for at least 3 months before you even begin to see a difference.

I want to lose weigh but personally that won't happen if I restrict myself so much, trust me...I've tried to. Saying that though, I could eat avocado all day everyday lol

I love avocados too!

I've found a food that seems to be helping me to lose a bit of weight :)

the new liberte yoghurt with seeds it's a high protein yoghurt with seeds and mixed fruit, it's only just over a hundred calories per pot and if you just have one it keeps you full for hours.

They also do one which is summer fruits and muesli but I've found they don't keep you as full you get hungrier again sooner.

I also want to try out the tuna light lunches that are about 250 calories each.

Good idea to make a thread for this so everyone can do it together! I'm trying myself and I know it'll help me to see how everyone else is doing

Well 5 weeks since I started my new eating habits I am 9lb down which isn't bad to say I had a hen night and last week was half term with the husband off, including a date night. I have also lost 6" from across my body (Bust, waist, hips and thighs).

The husband is 18.5lbs down and already looking super skinny :D haha

I'm hoping for a little more this week, slowly getting there.

I've just stayed the same, but I'm not trying at all :) Steroids/illness/operation tomorrow means weight loss is last thing on my mind - however I'm CHUFFED to stay the same.

Well done Chammy you're doing fab!

Hope everyone is sticking to their healthy eating and exercise routines.

After 2 weeks off I'm literally just heading out to endure 2 hours of boxing training in an amateur gym that will be like an oven with today's temperatures outside! :'(

No doubt I won't be able to use my arms for the next 4 days but it has to be done. :)

Just Googled Synergy360, looks pretty brutal!

My arms and legs, and pretty much everywhere else, are paying the price today haha.

You know what - it actually wasn't too bad

It's all about strength and resistance rather than cardio

My arms felt like jelly at the end of it but that's only because i wasn't used to the movements

Should get easier as I do more of the classes

That's my problem, I get a bit lazy and don't go to the boxing for a week or 2, then when you do eventually go back it's like starting all over again. Then lumbered with the pain for 3 or 4 days afterwards too haha. Sticking at it is key.

Hi!

I'd love to join you. So far I have lost 6st from my heaviest weight - I lost about 4.5st with slimming world, although I kept having babies and putting it back on and getting it off again! I found it harder to shift after each child (I have 4) and last January swapped to the 5:2 plan. I lost 3st in 6 months and then plateaued for about 9 months before a few weeks of celebrating birthdays/Easter/wedding anniversary led me to put around half a stone back on. I've shifted about 4lbs in the last 4 weeks and now have about 3-3.5st to go. I'd love to be at goal by next summer, but in the short term I'd really like to shift a stone by September for my friend's wedding. My aim at the moment is to try and cut out any snacks.

I've started exercising as well, I do a karate class and a Pilates class each week and then try and squeeze in a couple of sessions at the gym but don't always have the time (see above re 4 kids!)

Esme x

As Monday is here I'm officially back on the bandwagon. I have gained 4 or 5lbs in the time I was on the steroids/meds for recent illness, and now I'm back at it. Started with a small 15 minute intense exercise tonight. Aiming to do 15 intense minutes or 30-45 more gentle ones each day this week.

My weight is XX stone and 13lbs (was 8/9lbs but gained weight). I will weigh again Sunday morning!

Hope to see other shedders joining in this week :)

That sounds nice about now :D Well done x

I've done my 15 minutes, when my husband gets up (night shift not laziness) I'll get him to do a 30 minute one with me :) Not going to be changing my diet and just going to get back to the exercise and see where I am in 1-2 weeks.
