Have only used betfair so far but about to try Smarkets for the £10 refund offer when I do my next bet. I know there are a few others to try too.

Which exchange do you all prefer? And why?

When I started it was 1) Smarkets, 2) Betfair, 3) Matchbook - 95%/4%/1% - BF for the non-standard and didn't use MB much as you pay commission on either result, and liquidity was low.
Today it is 1) Matchbook (because of the 0% offer), 2) Betfair (because I have the 2% for February offer) 3) Smarkets - 90%/8%/2%

If all the deals disappeared I would go back to my original preference

Hi, @maisiemog :)

I started off with Betfair as that was the one suggested by PA. I then progressed to Smarkets as the commission was 2%, rather than the 5% with Betfair.
Also, if you bet at PaddyPower you are advised to use Smarkets instead (they are linked. Don't know if it makes any difference though).
Betfair now have regular 2% commission offers but you HAVE to opt in first, and it may only be on Premier League games, I think.

Some people on here (myself included) have a referral code for Smarkets, whereby you BOTH get £10 if you join and place bets. You could then go on to refer people yourself (limited to 10 per month).

I have JUST joined Matchbook because of the 0% until the end of March offer through OM but the commission looks a little complicated after that, so not sure if I will continue after March.

Usually it is, but some on OM (those that have linked their OM accounts to BF - such as me) have got a 2% on everything for Feb offer - still need to opt-in though

Matchbook's liquidity has increased markedly while the 0% offer has been on. As they charge commission on all bets whether you win or lose, they are generally making money on the money we bet with anyway, and also look more attractive to normal punters due to the increased liquidty. Therefore you could make a good arguement for them to continue with the offer past the current deadline (it has already been extended once, and to cover the lucrative Cheltenham window as well)

Hi, @jkg-jkg :) I've just joined up for OM but not linked my BF account yet as it depends if I can get into MBing properly this time.

Hopefully Matchbook will extend their offer then

The only reason not to link it would be if you still have a non-gubbed PP account (may not matter, but that would definitely stop me doing it), otherwise it is a no-brainer as it allows you to place lay bets on BF directly from the OM Oddsmatcher
