FeaturePoints - does anyone else use this?

Found out about this app via a friend and have since got my boyfriend hooked on it! Just wanted to know, has anyone else tried it and/or redeemed a reward? You simply download and try out new apps, earn points and redeem them for gift cards or money paid straight into your PayPal account.

Got to redeem my first $5 (it's US-based) reward into my PayPal today, just for downloading a few apps. It's 100% safe (check out positive reviews on Google) - no dodgy business, lots of apps by reputable companies, many of whom I've downloaded other apps from in the past. Great way to make some extra pennies whilst sat at home if you're unemployed or unable to work, and discover some potentially useful and brilliant apps on the way.

I didn't like InstaGC (too many potentially dodgy sites/mailing lists/etc) and this is a fun and safe way to earn a little extra, since I'm currently unable to work.

It's pretty much the same as AppNana - I have signed up using your link to have a look around, just in case they have some apps that aren't on AppNana.

The problem with these apps is that they all seem to use the same referral companies and so the downloadable content is the same for all of them. This means that if you download if using AppNana, you can't do it again on Feature Points or Swagbucks etc. I think the key to cashing out quickly is not to spread yourself across too many of these sites, but to stick to the one with the best user interface.

I quite like the fact that you don't have to visit lots of individual walls (like AppNana), so this looks like a nice alternative.

However, I am struggling to find stuff that i haven't already downloaded.

A girl I follow on Depop posted screenshots of the $200 PayPal payments she'd earned over a few weeks..must've been downloading those apps all day!

Agree that it's best to stick to one app like this and build up your points in one place. I like that it doesn't take too long to build up to a reward and that you get to discover decent games and useful apps that you wouldn't have otherwise seen.

Nearly at my next $5 reward only a couple of days after my last, only downloaded a few big earning apps & that was it so it definitely pays off well if you keep at it a bit every day!

All of these "download and test apps" things are slow burners after the first week because it takes a while for the new stuff to be added.
Something to do at the bus stop though - just make sure that your 3G / broadband allowances are generous enough.

You can cash in every $5 if you want the PayPal money, you don't seem to get a discount if you wait to cash in for a higher amount. & I notice new apps being added each day in the mornings and evenings in particular, though you have to be quick to get the ones with the mega points value. Great if you're spending lots of time at home with wifi and not much to do!

Also if you've been wanting to download a paid app from the App Store, they cost relatively few points and therefore easy to earn, so saves you having to put the extra £1-2+ on top of your credit card bill.

Noticed a bunch of new apps added today, mostly 60-70 points each so worth doing if you have some free time with wifi today!

Nearly at $10 to cash out so almost earned $15 from this app in just a couple of weeks of not using it that much, quite pleased! Means I can pick up a few items on Depop (my other new favourite app) that I've been after for a while!
