Sorry, I'm just having a moan haha!

Feeling very despondent this month, I need to earn over £1k each month and this month has just been rubbish. I spend most of the time doing casino (gubbed by anyone doing decent sports offers so apart from the odd extra place, it's casino all the way!!) but not doing well so I've barely earnt anything. Fortunately I've got the Lionbridge income but I am wayyy below what I need to earn.

I've applied for anything I can on UTest and Appen, but I think I need to look at other options too. At the moment I'm thinking sports trading (but I need the time to get my head around this properly!) or maybe Amazon selling but don't know where to start.

Anyway, yes, just venting :)

Good morning,

When you say you've run out of sports offers, have you done all of these yet?

21.co.uk, 32Red, Bet600, Betbull, Betconnect, Betuk, Casumo, Colossusbets, Energybet, Geoff Banks, Goodwin Racing, Hollywood Bets, Joejennings Telebet, Kwiff, Lvbet, Midnite, Novibet, Oddsking, Redbet, Rizk, Spreadex (sports fixed odds, NOT spreads), STSbet, Vbet.

Not all of the above will have sports welcome offers, but most have good reload offers.

I'd try those before sports trading. What's your edge against the wisdom of the crowd on a betting exchange? If you've no edge, it's a zero sum game.

Hi! Yeah there's 3 in that list I haven't joined so I'll give that a try - thanks! I've been doing MB for over two years now so I am running out of options on new accounts :)

In addition to signup offers, how about:

Extra places
DDHH
2up
Each way arbing
Price boosts/enhanced odds
Best Odds Guaranteed hunting
ACCA insurance refunds

Then there's advantage play, which it sounds like you've dabbled in with casino offers.

Each way no lay
AP'ing the price boosts
ACCA insurance no lay

Etc etc

I'm tempted to try each way no lay, (and the acca insurance no lay actually - although I'm gubbed by most of the bookies that offer it,) just need to look into it again and get my head round it! Gubbed by Bet365 & Paddy so 2UPs are no go, I try to do EP's but with all the gubbings and stake restrictions I have it not as easy as it was to get the decent matches with low enough QLs! Gubbed by Betfred too so no DDHH.

Just curious how you have been managed to get gubbed on a lot of the accounts. Did you mug bet on these sites?

I did on some but made absolutely no difference and got gubbed anyway so stopped doing it. I know there are differing opinions on whether mug betting actually helps!

I think it's inevitable really when you're taking advantage of the offers and you've been doing it a while.

How much are you making per month with each way no lay?

@fajita, I don't keep records anymore, but I'd estimate around +5-10% average ROI per month.

The variance can be quite high though, and I wouldn't start with less than £1k. And be prepared to never see that money again if variance isn't in your favour.

I guess I'm going to treat it the same way as I do casino!

Ideally would like to make c.£1k from all my MB activities but not looking likely anymore :)

Out of interest, what stakes are you doing?

I do general AP bets. Stakes from 40p to £5 per bet, depending on the EV rating and odds.
So I'll stake to win a set amount per bet. Lower stakes at higher odds.

What's your bankroll for this?

OK thanks. I got up to £300ish stakes on 2UPs before I was gubbed, and then EP's I was changing stakes to whatever I needed to make c. £200 profit per win. So was wondering how it would work with each way no lay!

Bank is about £7k.

Hiya, if W Hill is one of those stake restricted accounts might be worth giving them another try.
They've changed the betslip and for whatever reason it's letting me get decent stakes on again.

You'd alter your stakes in the bet slip for a £200 return. But that's a very aggressive staking strategy.
I started with £0.50-1.00 EW to get a feel for the odds and go on a big downswing.
