Just thought I'd share this here as I don't really know anyone who's into blogging. So for ages I couldn't work out why my page speed scores were so terrible (F's on GTMetrix, in the red on Google page speed insights etc. I tried asking loads of various experts but all they came back with is 'oh it must be your ads'. Anyway fast forward to recently when I had a SEO audit and they mentioned that One Signal was throwing up a lot of errors. I'd installed it a long time ago and didn't want to uninstall it previously as I had spent so long setting it up. Anyway I decided what harm would it do as I don't think I had many subscribers through it. I removed it and suddenly I was scoring A on GTMetrix and I was in the green for desktop and high amber for mobile on Google page speed insights. Just amazing how one thing can have such a impact, and the ads didn't seem to have anything to do with it... just be nice if my organic views improved now... they're awful lol.

Desktop is looking good, Mobile still seems to have a few things for you to do to improve
I always try and run as few plugins as I can on websites just because they ALWAYS end up dragging the site if they need to go off to 3rd party websites for some bit of data before showing the user the page
