Hey all, I'm not too good at keeping track of everything so this will hopefully be my tracker and I will try to check in regularly to update. Feel free to give me a nudge!
I need a bit of extra income to fund my wedding next year and hopefully an amazing honeymoon and holiday to Disneyland for us. I turn 40 next year so got a bucket list of things that I want to work through too!
I work fulltime so I'm going to start off just fitting surveys, mystery shops, etc around my job. When I build up a wee pot I'm going to take the dive into matched betting. I was put off at first but I've had a good read on here and signed up to PA so am feeling more confident to try it when I build up £100. I've already got accounts with a few of the betting sites but not used a few for a while. Is it worth signing up to them all now or waiting till I have a pot ready to use?
This week I've managed to cash out £25 pureprofile, took a while but I wasn't always checking it regularly so its 1 I think I will stick with as its not much effort. I've signed up to a lot of other survey sites too and I'm going to get a list together to decide which to ditch. I'm not having any luck with Prolific Academy, had nothing! Bit disapointed as that is the one that was most highty rated by people here. I'm plugging through surveys when I get some spare time at my desk, been quiet this week so I've been naughty!
I'll have made £60+ by the end of the week from Marketforce, Roamler, StreetSpotr, been having fun with these tasks and the've been getting me out walking at lunchtime, anything to get me away from my desk and into the sun is nice! Not sure if we're allowed to talk much about the actual jobs but these have been great, not had to pay for my lunch at all so far this week, think I'm lucky that I work city centre so I've had a good choice.
I'm flying down to London tomorrow for a visit to my dads, might see what I can pick up from the Apps while I'm there. I've got Task360, Field Agent and StreetBees that I've yet to pick up any work from so maybe will have better luck with them in a different area.
Organisation is key for me this time, I'm keeping track of jobs / surveys in a diary, noting what surveys I'm doing most often and if there is nothing available, organising my lunchtimes around tasks. Hopefully I'll manage to keep it up this time.
I want to sort out a basic account to use for any earnings from this and for my match betting deposits, anybody any recommendations ? I will have a look around today on the green site, not been on there since I came here!
Anyway, I've rambled.. back to work for a bit and another nosy around the shed, I'm loving reading all your diaries and you've given me some more confidence to make a better shot at earning online, you've gave me so many ideas and things to try, I can't wait for the cash to start coming in!

In terms of accounts at bookies it will say soon enough if you already have an account or if it's been so long that you account has been marked inactive and you can make a new one :)

I just use a separate HSBC account I had for all my matched betting so the money doesn't get mixed up with money for bills

I've always only had 1 main account but I'm in the process of switching that at the moment, I'll look at opening a separate account that I can use for extra income / MBing.
Sorting out my bank account, credit cards and a decent savings account is something I'm in the middle of so want to make sure thats done before I do anything that might have a negative effect on my credit file.

Just so you know Matched Betting doesn't affect your credit rating as all that ever takes place when you sign up is a soft search as if you were looking to buy a mobile phone :)

Yeah, I'm fine with that, its just having lots of outgoings from my account to betting sites that I don't want, we might be buying a house soon and don't want that on my statements! I want 1 outgoing to my "fun" account! Its applying for another bank account so soon that I'm worried might affect my credit rating but I'll figure that out.

Yeah I think you're making the right decision here @Jacquiesce

Once you really get going with Matched Betting your weekends will have an UNBELIEVABLE amount of transactions related to betting going on lol

A few of the apps I was losing hope for have been good for me the last couple of days, last night I had 2 x £4.50 from Field Agent and 2 x £3 from StreetSpotr.
I'm flying down to London later today and I've got 2 MarketForce jobs at the airport plus 2 x £5 from T360 and another from Field Agent for £4.50 if they are still available for me to reserve later!
I'm also picking up a new phone today, was nearly out of contract so I've got an early upgrade to a shiny new iPhone 6SE, its going to actually be cheaper than my bill just now and has more storage for my Apps, better camera and more data, so I can pretend its an investment in my online earning.. but its really a treat to myself even if it is moneysaving! ;)
Just got to get through a morning in the office and then I can look forward to a wee trip to London with my faves.

Well.. I was 39 yesterday.. ticked Zorbing off my list! Was a great laugh.
Vegas is definitely on my list too, along with LA and the Maldives..
I've ridden in a helicopter Jon, was thrilling, for more thrills I want to skydive and bungee jump.
Less exciting than that is getting married and I'm slowly starting to think about making plans now I've got a bit of money coming in and can start saving more.

I've not had chance to do many tasks from the Apps but finished May with £83 in my Paypal solely from that and today alone I've got June off to a great start by doing £42 of mystery shop /Spotr /Roamler/ Task 360, along with that I picked up a free buritto for lunch and got a good bit of walking done so I'm well happy with that.

I've took the plunge into MB'ing, got a couple of bets running just now and should earn £32 from that between yesterday and today, so easy and exciting. I'm still a bit nervous placing the bets but double checking everything and using the calculators and fingers crossed its going ok so far. I'm going to focus on that over the weekend and set a target for June.

I'm doing great Jon, just slowly working my way through the sign up offers, usually got a couple on the go at 1 time until I can build my pot up more to cover the bigger liability. Amazed how easy it is. I'm looking forward to getting my withdrawals from the bookies and topping up at the exchange then diving into the other offers, after today I'll have made about £200 so far this month so going great towards my aim of £500 for June. I imagine it'll slow down for a couple of days then I'll get back into it at the weekend, its easy money for so little effort, I'm so glad I found this site!

On top of this, I've been stepping up the mystery shopping and task apps, got loads of Roamler pub tasks near me so going to be enjoying a couple of drinks every night after work, has to be done! :)

Sounds like you are well in the zone as they say!

You might find over time that you drop lower paying work for more higher paying stuff but that's perfectly normal!

Yeah, I've found this week I've not touched Swagbucks or done many surveys, I prefer being out and about and doing the matched betting, its less time consuming for more reward. I've got a sick boy at home so might spend a bit more time on the laptop over the weekend while I'm at home. I've got my fiance signed up to everything now so theres a bit of competition between us, it all adds to the wedding fund. :)

yeah those lower paying sites tend to be the first to go as you realise your time (which is always precious) can be spent earning a lot more!

This competition between your husband and you sounds like a great idea!!

Well, I came home on Sunday from 2 lovely weeks away with my family so easing myself back in gently with work, extra work...
I'm just signed up for a new bank account purely to use for MBing /mystery shopping so waiting on that before I get back into MBing, got a nice pot ready for the start of the footie season and going to expand into Acca's, etc.
Doing a few mystery shopping bits this week, mostly free lunches and drinks but the small fees add up and I'm working OT this weekend so thats more money for the pot, I've started a proper diary /spreadsheet to keep on top of actual figures made so hopefully aiming for August to be a big earning month! :)

Hey @Jacquiesce

Just checking in, do you think you're a bit more organised now then with keeping track of everything? Hopefully you are earning lots with MBing now that the football season is in full flow!

I'm definitely more organised! Got a seperate bank account up and running now so all my earnings from mystery shopping, surveys and task apps go straight into it and I use it for my MBing, its going great! Working my way through the new signups and starting on some reload offers. Getting into more of a routine now and my pot is gradually growing, I can have a few running at the same time now. I'll check in at the end of the month with total figures and a breakdown of where I'm earning more from. Thanks to the MoneyShed my finances are back on track!

I know @Jon said it a while ago, but as you are looking to buy a house, although MB wont directly affect your credit rating, banks now do an enhanced review of your bank account and as such may query - and decide it shows financial inappropriateness - if you are paying £50+ per bookies account to set them up. Trying to explain MB to a bored person on the phone/in a bank may just lead them to a 'thanks but no thanks' as its easier.

But if you have a spreadsheet and show it as income they may be less inclined to query it. As people have suggested, a seperate bank account for MB helps keep this seperate from prying eyes.
