Well, its been a while since I checked in.. I'm still plodding along with the MBing, mystery shopping, etc. Making a decent amount of money from it and definitely more into a routine now and keeping track of it. My other half is getting more into it too so we are getting on track for next year and starting to wedding plan! :) The honey has been booked... he's surprised me with a week in New York!!
There's lots of ideas going on in my head to take things further with the money making, I want to get a blog going, look into earning money from vlogging / youtube / Pinterest, etc.. got some posts written up already and hoping to launch that soon. Posts are varied.. everything from money-making, getting fit, turning 40, parenting, wedding planning.. I've been busy! 25 varied posts already and still loads of idea, I just need to keep reading loads and take the plunge soon. Its completely new to me and I'm enjoying reading about everybody elses success with blogs so I already know that it will take a lot of work to make any money from but its fun too so if nothing else I'll just enjoy learning about something new and writing again.
In the run up to Xmas I might spend a bit less time making money and put more of an effort into getting my head around blogging, etc. I'll be around asking annoying questions and taking any advice I can!

I've only been blogging nearly two months now, I didn't realise how much I would enjoy it. When you start to see your page views growing, it further motivates to keep going. 25 posts is a lot before you've even launched a blog, my only advice is to get stuck in!

This is going to sound counter intuitive but you might want to pace yourself. I put up one new personally written blog post a week (on a monday) so 25 blog posts would last me 25 weeks. Once your readers know your posting schedule they will learn when to come back to find new content but a lot of people start out blogging every other day and end up running dry of content.

Also accept with a blog you need to be on the endless conveyor-belt that is Social Media. You will want to be looking to advertise your content on Twitter / FB and it's not just a case of posting endless tweets promoting your blog posts you need to connect with people and forge relationships so that they can in tern help promote your blog with a re-tweet or something.

It's a lot of hard work blogging but the money you can make from it is incredible when you find your niche and the blog gets big enough that companies come knocking for sponsored posts

Thanks for the advice guys.. grateful for all feedback, I am just starting on this learning curve so I will need to see what I can juggle to put in the work. I'm reading more about mastering the social media side of it and I know it will be hard work and I might not get anywhere but I'm going to start slowly, maybe just a few posts before Xmas then build it up from there as I get to grips with everything.
I've set myself a few missions for the New Year so I'll see where things go.
