Hi everyone
So I have been toying with trying out matched betting for a couple of weeks and today finally plucked up some courage and went for it... The if it sounds too good to be true.... ethos is something I stick by..but after reading of experiences by members here I went for it... I use Profit Accumulator site.. which offers 2 free offers before signing to premium... I found the instructions invaluable.. not a chance in hell I could figure this out.. and the site has a video with step by step instructions (I have zero clue how a betting site works.. and it took me about 30 mins of watching and pausing the video then implementing the instructions on the betting pages) I paid out about 60 quid and sure enough everything turned out as the site predicted (well... almost... It gives you 2 free offers and says you can make 45 quid over both... I have doubled my 60 quid already with still one free offer to use! !!) So if all goes to plan with the second too I will absolutely be signing up for premium... everyone says that site has the best support...even though I have had no need for it yet.If anyone is like me...100% clueless and very sceptical...have a go.

This is great!

I know there are free and cheaper alternatives to PA but it is brilliant. I can't recommend them enough, especially with the free trial! Even if someone doesn't want to matched bet for long, it is a free £45-£60!

Will you be taking out platinum membership?

Yes I agree. I was very sceptical at first took me a few months watching the Matched Betting thread on here before I tried it. I would never have attempted it with the thread on here and Profit Accumulator both have helped me to get to grips with it. Never placed a bet in my life either but now I can see how easy it is and how it makes money. Nice and easy and tax for free. You can't beat that.
Definitely worth at least the free trial. I went for the year of Platinum Membership in the end that way it is cheaper in the long run.

It is actually as good as it sounds although I am still only paying for the monthly subscription with PA at the moment as I need to see if the reload offers justify the amount before going to yearly. I believe they will do though.

I do advise reading through the forum pages as you go through the offers as some sites are trickier to deal with than others and you want to do everything you can to avoid getting your betting accounts restricted or banned!

Other piece of advice to you is to not expect too much too quickly from it unless you have a decent amount of money behind you to use as a betting bank as it does take time to build up your winnings and it can seem like you are not really advancing that much initially.

Thanks Aldi. .. yeah I read your MB blog (great work btw) and that's when I decided to take the plunge... I am going to use the 2nd free one tonight and if that works out half as good then yeah I will definitely be joining platinum.

There is no risk since you are covering yourself whether the team or horse you have bet on wins or loses. You put a bet on at the bookies for that team or horse to win then you go to an exchange like Betfair and bet that it won't win. So if the team or horse wins you win money on the bookie side if it loses you win money in Betfair.
I had never placed a bet in my life but after joining Profit Accumulator I found it easy. Profit Accumulator explains everything easily with instruction videos.
Worth signing up for the free trial and give it a go for free to see how you get on.
I did the trial on PA and it made me money so went straight ahead with the one year Platinum Membership.[emoji4]

Agree with the above Raggyrat. It is very understandable to be cautious and wary, initial outlay for me was about £70(Which is a lot of money to put on something that frankly sounds ridiculous) but as long as you follow the instructions carefully (there is no rush..my first one took me over 30 mins) the videos are brill, just watch, pause,do what it says, unpause and repeat till your done. Good luck

Great stuff Tasteph. . As I say don't feel you are against the clock for your first goes.. follow the video..do what it does...bit by bit... check and double check and when your happy place the bets... I understand the basic idea of it a little more...but am very wet behind the ears of the inner workings of it...but know as with others who have been doing it a while I will get it.
Good luck

Hi,

I'm trying it for the first time right now! I've become stuck though!! Done the first part of the bet with Coral but now trying to place the bet using betfair and it's telling me I don't have enough funds. I've deposited the same amount as the liability showing on both the calculator and on betfair's site so I don't understand why it is saying this. Has anyone else come across this problem? or know how to fix it?

Thank you.

You need liability + stake so shove a bit more in betfair

Oh okay, thank you. I thought you just needed the liability amount. I did try to add more money straight away but it declined as I'd only just deposited. All done now though. Thank you :)

Thank you :) I've just checked my bet fair account and made £13.04. Small profit but I'm happy with that for a first attempt.

I am tempted to try too. I just need to convince my husband it isn't a scam. Plus, we don't gamble so I need to also convince him that this isn't gambling as you win either way... I'm really not sure! I might have to give the free trial a go and see what happens! Will report back if I do!

Hi [member=3011]Rs20033[/member]

It's not gambling

Use the free trial, you will make £45 and it will prove the concept works (unless we are all lieing our ass off in the Matched Betting thread lol)
