First try at matched betting today

Hi. Just started on the matched betting journey. I did my QB yesterday with Coral and my FB is sitting on Barnsley v Millwall today. I managed a bet £5 get £30 on the Walkabout deal and with only having a small amount to start off with I am looking to get about £20 back. My question is though, how long does it take for the money requested from Coral to hit my bank? I withdrew nearly £15 yesterday at tea time and it is still showing in the "waiting" tab. Thing is, I can't move on until this money comes back to me.

I have just dipped my toe into matched betting (scary!) and my Coral money came through in 24 hours.

Thanks Magrat. Just after I posted I got my money through from Coral. Just waiting on a game tomorrow for my free bet and got a tenner on in Betfref at the mo. Be interesting to see how it goes. Oh and Esme says hello. ;-)

It can take a good few days for withdrawls to hit your account from bookies. Have a look at Skrill - its a bit like Paypal, but for bookies. I haven't used it myself, but many others do and its quicker to move money around on that. Just make sure you use your bank card to deposit when doing sign up offers rather than Skrill as sometimes the offer won't be valid if you've used Skrill.

Shortly after writing my post, Coral paid out!! Less than 24 hours. I had made a small loss (10p) on the qualifying bet. Just had a loss on the free bet with Coral but Betfair paid out £20. I didn't have enough money available to cover the high odds, so its only a 66% return (I had a £30 free bet). Still £20 free quid is certainly not going to be sniffed at. My QB with Betfair made a small loss and I'm just waiting on the FB to appear. £10 QB with Stan James and just sitting waiting for the bets to run. Slowly but surely. ;D
