These sites are getting mentioned more and more - both as a way to earn money online with your skills and as a way to find talent and pay others.
What are peoples experiences with these sites
Fiverr - Nice site, has the most available offers for sure. It is only let down it's inability to filter per country so I can weed out anyone that isn't UK based which is generally want I want from sites like this. Other thing worth mentioning is that you sometimes find that the gigs are really being priced at 10 dollars instead of 5, they sort of list a 'light' version of 5 and a proper big boy one at 10.. Just noticed that quite a bit in the last few months.
FiveSquid - Nice site, all UK based, not as much content and effectively if you were buying it would cost you most than at fiverr. I have found the content to be so so but that might just be who I chose. A while ago I spent £5 on a gig which was a tweet to nearly 1m people from a UK account. Checked the account, everything stacked up, they did the tweet, had zero impact. Total splatter gun approach do be warned, if you are buying a skill or talent, make sure you can actually measure the result.
People Per Hour - It was only recently that this site has changed to look like the other ones and prices seem ALL over the place. People seem to be offering the same as on Fiverr/fivesquid but for a lot more - so people will expect the content to be a lot better I guess.
Just my experiences so far with the site.
My one tip I would say is never be afraid of searching with the 'new' filter turned on. Just because people don't have feedback does not mean they won't provide excellent content and you can then reward them by re-booking their skills..
