Paying off in instalments. Same with the park tickets too. Got until end of Feb 2019 to pay off everything off. We were planning to use my MBing money. I'm already making more than the monthly instalments in a week at the moment so hopefully we will be ok. Plus I will have Cheltenham next year before we go!

Jesus that's some good timing!

Saying that I got paid for a blog post one time on the day we were flying and spent the money buying Discovery Cove tickets on the train to Manchester Airport using my phone lol

Yes. I made £300 this week doing Cheltenham in my lunch break so I would love to see what I can do with full time commitment to it. Knowing it's my spending money when I'm out there will really spur me on!

Fab. Going to book tonight. What tickets would you recommend if we want to do a bit of everything?

you're there for 2 weeks yeah?

Remind me, do you run a blog or not? If it's just if you do I can give you my PR contact at Universal as they gave us 3 x Adult UNLIMITED EXPRESS PASS tickets in exchange for a blog post so you might be able to do that

That aside. I would say the Disney & Universal Combo https://www.floridatix.com/orlando-ticket-deals-combos/disney-universal-combo-9-park?

It's 14 days of Universal (including Volcano Bay) and Disney for £552 so I guess all you'd have to pay out for on top of that would be Seaworld / Discovery Cove and Kennedy Space Center stuff.

Been looking at 2019 prices (oct 2 weeks) and you've made the right choice in the Comfort Suites @maisiemog

There is just NO DEAL to be had I don't think for 2 adults going

blah blah free dining but my god the accommodation is expensive and that doesn't even include the £399 per adult 14 day park tickets!!

comfort suites 4 life!!

We didn't want to stop on site so never even looked to be honest. husband felt he would be a bit Disney'd out if we stayed there. And Comfort looked the best of the ones offering breakfast. This time next year we will be there! So excited!

I'd love to go to Florida when Daisy is a little older and I've had my second baby! Love reading about people's holidays

This is our let's admit defeat after 8 years and accept there won't be a number 2 holiday. We wanted to do something we couldn't do with a baby in tow. Literally cannot wait! Also love holidays. My entire bucket list is travel related!

I do ge what he is saying

I think unless you are an 8 year old girl/boy/gender fluid unicorn that wants to be a princess is you are staying there, eating there and spending your entire days in the parks it probably can get a bit much.

Comfort suites / staying off site brings a lot more variety to your holiday however even we managed to do Typoon Lagoon twice and Blizzard Beach twice so got good value for money out of those 14 day disney tickets

Ordered park tickets for Universal and Disney but that is it so far. There is so much to do over there that we don’t even know where to start. I can’t see this being our only trip.

Concentrating on paying it off at the moment though! And counting down to April 27th!

Yeah it won't be your only trip lol

I have to admit I end up making a spreadsheet for the florida trips showing what we are going to be doing all day.

Also @Morning Millionaire swears by using the Touring Plans website so that you don't end up stuck in queues waiting to go on rides (not that you should anyway if you FP things)

Touring Plans is definitely the way to go. You just input the date, park you're going to, arrival time, select the rides you want to go on, input any fastpass times you've booked and any times you'll want lunch or a break, your walking speed (casual, normal etc) and then it will order everything for you to reduce the amount of queue times you'll face.

It's very accurate and made our experience amazing.
