Taking part in this research project will involve you speaking directly, one-on-one with a few different members of staff from the credit card provider, Capital One.
We would like these conversations to take place via Skype, and you can do this from the comfort of your own home if you like.
The subject they're particularly interested in is how to help people avoid missing credit card payments - they genuinely do want to help consumers avoid fees, and make things better and easier for credit card users.
I appreciate this can be a sensitive subject, but the people you'll be speaking with are really friendly and want to better understand how they can help customers pay on time and avoid fees.
We want to make sure in advance that you're comfortable talking about:
The reasons you've missed payments in the past
What credit card providers should be doing to help you avoid missing payments in the future
The role credit cards play in the way you manage your finances
They won't pursue any lines of questioning you're uncomfortable talking about, but it's important everyone enters into these conversations with an open mind in the spirit of hopefully making things better for all credit card customers in the UK.
We'll give you a bit more detail about this shortly, but does this all sound like the sort of thing you would be broadly comfortable with?
You're welcome
