Consumer Directory Paid Research for Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland customers

Consumer Directory Paid Research for Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland customers

You must have your Personal Current Account with Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland in order to be eligible for this research!

With this research you would be carrying out a mystery shop exercise where you test the procedures used by certain banks over one of a number of scenarios; eg - when you are

1) applying for home insurance,

2) applying for a credit card,

3) applying for an overdraft

4) applying for a loan

You will be required to do the following to complete your task:

•Book an appointment for the relevant bank branch.

•Have an over the phone briefing with our client (20 minutes) where he will explain what you need to do.

•Complete a pre bank online questionnaire

•Visit the bank branch in person and take out the required product using the scenario provided (45-60 minutes)

•Return the equipment supplied and any paperwork received in the branch (post the same day by prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery)

•Take a phone call from the bank about your in branch experience.

Your incentive, which is £50 for whichever scenario you fit, will be paid by our client, one of the major banks. Our client will also brief you fully by phone in advance of the research, so that you know what you have to do. He will also fully explain what you have to do to cancel the scenario you carried out.

To apply to take part in the survey just click on this link, or copy and paste the following address to your browser:

Project Reference: 14514

We will be delighted if you can take part, but if you can't help this time, thank you anyway for taking the time to read this email.

BSc/MSci Chemistry Qualification Research

Hello!

We have a project for a small group of people aged between 21-44yrs who have a BSc or Msci in Chemistry and who use these particular skills in their work and who have worked in their current industry for 3yrs or more for the brief below:

“The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is currently campaigning for more specialist primary science and secondary chemistry teachers in schools in England. In order to support the campaign for specialist teaching, the RSC is looking to understand the impact of having specialist science /chemistry teachers in primary and secondary schools.

We will be producing a short film for the RSC as part of this research where we would like to capture videoed vox-pops of young professionals talking about inspiring teaching/lessons, and to showcase chemistry in action (i.e. within a workplace). The film will feature pupils from primary and secondary schools, university undergraduates and young professionals showing the “journey” through education, and the impact that an inspiring teacher can have. It will be used by the RSC to support their campaign for more specialist primary science and secondary chemistry teachers to help the campaign gain traction within the media, and to spark interest and debate within Government”

This will be a 45min group session being held on Monday 20th April at 6.30pm in SE1

You would receive £50 in cash.

We need people who would also be willing – if selected – to be interviewed in their workplace and to be videoed performing your role at work.

If you could kindly recommend anyone you know who works with a chemistry background it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested please could you reply ONLY in the following way:

Name

Age

Gender

Ethnicity

Mobile number

Highest level of Education

Occupation

Where do you work?

How long have you worked at your present place of work?

Do you use the skills/experience of your Chemistry degree in your occupation?

Did you have an inspirational teacher you can honestly say influenced your choice to pursue a chemistry qualification?

We will be in touch today - if you are selected - to offer you a space.

email gill@gs-qual.co.uk

Thank you!

New focus group for Saros for a year long project - don't think I can apply for this one as you need to go to Leeds for a full day on a Saturday and I work weekends :( If anyone does sign up through my link, can you quote my name - Amy Jacobson as I would get a referral bonus, thanks

We are recruiting a new project, and based upon the information you gave us when you registered with Saros you may be able to take part.
The research about Transport. This is a very important and unique project for Saros as we are setting up a 12 month online panel of people whose sole purpose will be to help our client determine passenger needs by way of completing various tasks and activities within an online community. As part of the panel, you would be given tasks to complete tasks on a weekly basis and it will require you to be an active member of the online community for the duration of the 12 month period. Please only continue if you feel you can dedicate your time going forward.

ALL chosen respondents will be required to attend a very important kick off workshop which will last for the whole day on Saturday 9th May 2015 from 10am until 4pm in Leeds city centre. The cash incentive for attendance on this day is £125. Regardless of where you are based, participation in this workshop is compulsory otherwise you will not be able to take part in the online panel. We are aware this means that many of you will need to travel (some maybe the day before) and therefore our client has agreed to make all necessary travel plans on your behalf (including train tickets and possible overnight accommodation if coming from afar). There is a section below to give us more info on necessary travel needs should you be selected.

Following the workshop, you will then proceed to assist our client via the online community. You will need to check in a minimum of once per once a week and you will be required to complete all tasks or activities that are posted for you. This will include answering questions, uploading photos and video, participating in discussions and providing feedback on proposed ideas. This panel will run for 12 months. Payment for the panel will be staggered. £25 will be given to you for signing up to the online community and a payment of £75 per quarter will be offered (£25 per month). This will be paid by way of BACS from our client on a monthly basis and assumes that you have been an active member of the community and responded to the tasks set. This monthly fee may increase if more tasks are set. At the end of the 12 month panel all members that have completed all tasks to a high level will receive an additional £50 to say thank you.

If you manage to complete all elements of this research as required, the total incentive paid to you would be £500.

General eligibility is as follows - we can’t tell you any more at this stage, but it should give you an idea of whether or not it’s worth applying:

We are looking for males or females aged 18+

We are looking for a huge range of people to help us. Most of them the general public but some of which includes wheelchair users, those who use aids to walk, business travellers, overseas travellers, people who have recently moved to the UK and anyone else that does a lot of long distance travel. If you know anyone who may fit any of this please do pass this on to them as we appreciate some of these individuals may be hard to find. We will pay you a £10 referral payment for any non Saros members that are selected to take part to help us.

You must never have taken part in research on travel before

Neither you nor your family and close friends should work in: advertising, PR, journalism, market research, marketing, graphic design, architecture, engineering, or anything else related to the travel or transport industry

Any problems -link won't click through? Cut and paste this entire URL into your browser instead
https://www.sarosresearch.com/jb/LUM9.php?id=453409658

This link is to a screening questionnaire, which we will use to determine whether or not you are part of the targeted audience our client wishes to consult. We call potentially eligible participants back in order of receipt of response, and conduct a telephone interview to establish exact eligibility for the research - at which point your participation will be confirmed and full venue details supplied.

If your details are not a match for our clients requirements, we would like to thank you for your time and your interest - we are sorry we are not able to let everybody know individually the outcome of their application, and if you do not hear in good time before the event then please assume your answers have not matched requirements on this occasion. We are sorry for any disappointment caused, we hope to be in touch again soon, and to find the right project for you before too long.

Newbie here! This is fast becoming my fave website :)

This thread is incredibly helpful, brilliant to see so many people being selected for groups :) And who knew there were so many reputable Focus Group companies in the UK??

I work for a University so have been lucky to take part in Focus groups on campus, my fave was being paid £25 to eat cake and give our opinion on the branding!

My fella has also completed an online study about betting which he received £50 for, then an additional £100 for his online diary being the best entry! Easy money indeed.

I'm currently part of Saros and Focus4People and haven't been selected for a study yet, so thanks for all the helpful recommendations on here!

I did focus group a few weeks ago- was amazing! Getting paid to give my opinion- yes please!!!
But I have applied for tons and tons and tons before but never seemed to get picked. What kinda person are they looking for?
I spoke to a couple of people afterwards and they get tons of offers of acceptance and they didn't seem much different demographically than I! lol

hyle, I think the rule is to apply early and be thorough with your answers.

I do about 3-4 focus groups a year, maybe, but I haven't done any in person ones for ages! I did an online one paying amazon gift vouchers last month.

Wow, what a great thread! I signed up to all of the focus groups mentioned here (although a fair few of the links from that impressive post on the first page no longer work - I'm guessing those companies no longer exist in 2016).

I'd love to participate in some of the online groups.

Do people just tend to wait for invites, or do you make a point of checking the projects on each site from time to time?

Hi, does anyone know if focus group companies keep a record of when you've last done something with them? I can't remember if it's been 6 months or not etc

I haven't posted for a while but thought I would share this.
On Thursday I go to my first focus group in around 20 years and was stunned to be invited.
It takes place in Brussels on Friday. They have sent me Eurostar tickets to travel there on Thursday and return Friday plus they have a hotel for me.
The pay is amazing too.

I reckon there must be a catch somewhere but going to make the most of the Eurostar trip anyway.

Angel fish have a new focus group on charitable donations.

Our latest study:
We have an interesting new study on the topic of charitable giving for UK residents aged 20-70.

Take part in a 5 day online community
You will be required to spend 60 minutes participating over the 5 days (approx. 10-15 mins per day)
When will I need to do it?
Tuesday 1st to Saturday 5th November inclusive
What will I get for taking part?
£45
This will be paid in the form of Amazon gift vouchers
These will be emailed to you within approx. 3 weeks of community completion

Great! How do I get involved?
To save you some time, we invite you to complete a few short eligibility questions online. Should you qualify, one of our team will contact you via telephone to clarify your answers and arrange the next steps.

If you'd like to join, here's a link - http://opinionseeker.fluidsurveys.com/s/AF1662_AF1663/ and if you'd like to mention me - Amy Jacobson, I will receive a £10 amazon voucher if you get picked and complete the research

If anyone is up for earning up to £100 in Amazon vouchers (would be good for Christmas)!!

I was asked by a US research company called DScout (they also have an app in the Playstore) to find participants for a shopping study this week.

If you order ink or toner cartridges for a home or home office printer and would like to do a 75 minute phone interview this week, you will receive a £100 Amazon gift card. Apply to participate here: http://survey.sogosurvey.com/k/RWsWRSUPsUsPsPsP

I did a couple of missions as part of this project that I will be paid for, but didn't meet what they were looking for for the 75 minute phone interview (boo hoo) but someone else here may well do. Anyway, please include my name (Jenny Spirit) as the referral when prompted as I will receive an incentive for this, cheers :)
