It sounds like you are off to a great start. I love ' what users do' but as I've got busier I catch less and less tests.
Thanks, I have missed a few studies and tried to tweak my 'work hours'. I am trying not to miss many, I think the winter may be a good time for it all, in the summer I leave the house early and don't get back until 8.

Yeah you can't help these things sometimes

Being as I work 8-4 Mon-Thur I used to end up missing LOADS of opportunities on the smartphone task apps but I learned to replace that money with passive income instead of Leapforce where I could control the income more to the hours I could afford

self employed work + full time employment is a hell of a balancing act!

Match betting is going well, only small profits but I have got more into spotting other offers. I am just being realistic on what I can get. If I wanted to I would drive about for tasks but I think I will save that for the winter when my sports/work are not so full on.

Have had a bit of dry week as I have been super busy with my real job -

YouGov - £0.75 (a proper pants week for that)
Prolific - £6.40 (and I cashed out £22.10)
OnePoll - £2.65
Curious Cat - £1.05 (Cashed out)
WhatUsersDo - £5 (so desperate to get more out of this but just one test this week)
InboxPounds - £2.15
Free Slots - £3
MB - £22.20 (I think still a bit iffy on how I am working it out but looks right and now am building a good bank)

Total for week £43.20

Month 185.73/250

I have had to re evalutate my goals a bit, my finances are in a shocking array after a load of bad luck, so while funding the unicorn is the goal, I am first having concentrate on getting my bank balance back under control and out of my overdraft. It's been a bit of a blow and I am really upset but I have to look after the finances first before I have fun. Matchbetting is going well, I made a heap on the bookies so going to withdraw that and reinvest in the next steps of the plan. I have been very busy all weekend but have nothing on next weekend so with it being the FA Cup final etc then I am looking for some good profits. I was pleased I made some money on free slots but an super wary of that.

Another week another spot of good luck and some hard work! £53.01 this week which is good, and my level for month stands at £171.23/£250. I have taken off my match betting total as I was getting confused.com so will add that at the end of the month as at the moment it is not really counting as I am not drawing on it until I reach a bank level of £1k.
In other news Leapforce have finally got back to to me and I am now at the end of the registration so I might actually get some work off them soon, 40p surveys are not going to cut it really but are a good place to start.
On the subject of surveys, PopulusLive are finally sending me stuff! So it does pay to be patient. It's been a bad time for mobile apps for me but hey ho, they are there ready when I am.

Good effort. I don't even track my MB profits until the end of the month now as it was taking up too much time trying to keep up with it all. I basically just... trust the process.

Looks like everything is going in the right direction!

Great that leapforce have got in touch - hopefully that works out well for you in the long run! Sometimes I miss my leapforce days. Used to be a fantastic earner for me bringing in £600-£700 a month.

Thank you and it is you and this place that has helped, I do still come here for inspiration and support. My finances are still rough but I have got a stream to help out now to work on.

Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse, my car was written off on Monday, I was hit from behind at a junction. I had just taxed and MOT'd it for the year, hoping I might get two more years out of it or however long it took me to raise a decent amount of money to get a nice newer one. So every is stuffed, as it was so old they offered me total loss and that money is in my account but trying to buy a car with under 1k when you live on your own and work 9-5 and have to have car to get about is just rough.
I haven't been so depressed about money in such a long time. It seems to be one thing after another. I managed to get started on my Leapforce thing but have done no surveys and had to go a lot slower on MBing as I can't focus and pretty much all of my time outside of work is taken up with trying to sort out the mess from the idiot smashing up reliable old car.
Life sucks

I haven't update in a while apart from on the Monthly logs, I need to have a look at my spread sheet as it has gone a bit awry but it looks like I have made near £1k since I started (not in my account though as most is tied up waiting for an amount to pay out). I am not making enough to fund the Unicorn yet but I am lowering my existing debt steadily which is probably more important right now.
Leapforce is going ok, the work is easy but sooo boring and haven't been paid yet for June, they said they had approved my invoice and that I would get an email when I was paid but nothing yet, that's a bit of a downer as I wanted to see how much I was actually going to get rather than guessing all the time.
Matched betting is just the best, I have been slowly building it up and weirdly become interested in football! It is easier to back and lay on than the horses, even if they are my first love! I am now looking forward to the start of the season so I can bash out the ACCA sign up offers. I have made a few mistakes but getting there now. I have a seperate account and it nice to see so much money coming into it. I have promised that when I get to £1k in there I will start drawing off it. I am currently making around £200 a month so that would be handy and I love the free spins offers, but avoid anything that requires wagering as I never seem to get there with those.

Aww thank you for thinking of me, I have been around and about but very busy. The guy who hit me finally admitted liability and I got paid out on my birthday, I had bought a very cheap run around in the mean time but am hoping to trade that in come New Year for something much more realible.
I think I suffered a bit of crash and burn matched betting wise, I made over £800 two months in a row which was great but then got gubbed by a few bookies and my real job is super busy this time of year so have had to concentrate on that.
Leapforce/Appen has not paid me the last two months which was annoying as I did the work but the takeover seems to have affected that so I have just kicked them off for now, I just have not got the time to chase them up.
Unicorn is doing well and I have earnt enough money to buy a new laptop and go out competing which is the whole point of doing this.
At the beginning of the year I was £3k in debt, I now just owe on one credit card (£750) which will get paid off when I get my bonus in a week or so and then I will have spare cash to save, put to one side for a holiday for me and my mum next year and a deposit on a newish car.

Sounds like you're doing really well! That new laptop will pay for itself in no time as well I bet

Just looking back through this thread, it is amazing how far I have come from scrapping towards £250 a month extra. Real world hit home this week, our bonus is usually performance linked and having had the best year in company history we were all set for a lovely one. However a few days before it went in on Friday we were told that it was going to be slashed in half, Happy Christmas. Now I had worked out what I might be getting and allocated it but not spent it as I am not stupid, I suspected that some way or another we wouldn't be getting it. People have walked out over it.
Anyway on a positive note, it was enough to pay off my last bit of debt on a credit card. So I am now officially DEBT FREE! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:D:)

Massive milestone achieved.

So onwards and upwards. Having to adjust my plans but not having debt now help and I actually have savings too.

Austerity will reign for another year for the Unicorn but I can now use my profits to fund his competing rather than paying my bills. Happy Christmas and thank you for providing such a good site full of helpful people.

Love this! What a positive story. I look forward to the day I can say I’m debt free from the dreaded credit cards!!!! Well done you!

This is great!!! Such a shame about the bonus... I actually had the same thing happening to me this year, thank God I am a bit like you and was convinced I was not getting it, so the disappointment was less striking.

But you are ending the year debt free so that is always great news! Have a lovely Christmas!
