Thanks, Katy! That sounds reassuring and probably is better to get on with something else for a half or whole day, rather staring in the computer blankly. Actually I do like online money making so it is just probably being a moody woman! I think what gets me down at the moment is that I have 3 sites (YouGov, Newvista and Mingle) very close to cashing out but no surveys coming along in the last week!

I completely get this! I have £600 ish sitting on websites that are almost at cashout... I start maternity leave soon so want to get those done before I go off!

Very saddened by the news about David Bowie today Currently have a Labyrinth mix on Youtube while I work.

On a happier note - our car passed its MOT today and my friend's girlfriend has just gone into labour

This happened to us last year [member=1020]Terriixx[/member] , it was so stressful and we didn't actually have a new place to rent until a week before we were due to move out! She did us a favour though, our new place is so much better, and the irony is that the old place is still on the market!

The fact we had a dog, many landlords didn't want us.

What a pain for you [member=1020]Terriixx[/member] - can't you get on the council list as you know you're going to be made 'homeless' so to speak? Worth a try at least?

Took the day off work yesterday to go to CAB and the town hall to register on the council lists.
Also applied for a house in the area that we like, we had a viewing the other week but didn't want to sign a 12 month contract. We decided to stop being so picky and just go for it. The landlords also decided to lower the rent so yay

Will be calling the agent this morning to find out if we've got it or not.

Heartbroken at this. This man has been my favourite actor since I was 12 I only know one of my friends because we met through a mutual love of him and she supported me through one of my toughest times. Cancer sucks.
