I'm still full of flu - I took some Night Nurse last night and I feel a bit better, yay.

Today I've been debating booking our honeymoon for about 5 hours so far! Bear with me whilst I explain it and ask your advice.

Get married 28 May. The plan was a few nights away somewhere v nice/posh at a cost of around £500, then honeymoon to Florida in October with a Disney cruise. October for Halloween stuff at the theme parks.

However...I looked at flights for after our wedding and they are dirt cheap. I'm talking in the £100's each way. They're so cheap we wouldn't get a free airmile upgrade (which I've been saving for...but it hasn't cost me anything). THEN the dream hotel that I thought we could never afford is on hotels.com reduced from £4,800 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to £1,200 (yea yea, still a lot. It is our honeymoon). It is the Grand Floridian, with a monorail direct to Magic Kingdom. Cashback websites offer 10% cashback with hotels.com AND they have a loyalty program where you earn an extra night for every 10 nights you stay somewhere. The downside is that the cruise we want to go on is SO much more expensive. £1,200 more expensive in June than it is in October.

Flights for October are over budget right now, but they could of course come down later.

It would be nice to go on honeymoon after the wedding (with a couple of days at home to relax first).

HELP!

Wow that sounds like a tough decision alditoharrods. How about go for the cheaper option and save the cruise for next year? (or keep checking the prices and if the cruise comes down in price then book it, or have two holidays.. maybe a bit too expensive though lol)

:) HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

I haven't been on here for months (I know, I know - such a total lack of loyalty :p) - I just clicked on the "show unread posts since last visit" link, and there are 30 pages of threads!!! You have been a busy lot!

It'll take me a week to catch up I think, but I'm really looking forward to reading all your news.

I hope you have a speedy recovery from your lurgy Jon - take care

There's nothing worse than feeling yucky and then inflicting further misery in the form of daytime telly. Have you done Jeremy Kyle?? That's real jaw-dropping stuff.

Hope you feel better soon
