This heat!!

Can't remember the last time I mowed the lawn as the grass barely grows in this sort of weather with no rain at all!!!

I miss the rain....

Aw yes, I remember rain.

Its an important part of being British: Jan - March complain about the cold, April - May complain about the rain, June - July, complain about the heat, August complain about the hosepipe ban even though its been raining for 10 days non stop. September complain that its September already, where did the summer go? and it will soon be Christmas. etc.

I don't dare mow mine for risk of a grass fire haha Also, all the local (council??) grass that was cut just before the heatwave started has dried out.

It so needs doing though.

When I had a garden that was massive (well about 5 meters wide by 30 long) I used to love mowing the lawn. Always rewarded myself with a beer afterwards.

I'm not sure a robotic lawnmower would be any good. A bit like robot vacuums, I just don't think they would do a good job.

Ok. I think we are all agreed that July has arrived far too quickly. Also it is far too busy to have the world cup and wimbledon happening at the same time. Therefore I propose we hold off on July for now and extend June by another 14 days to allow for the end of the world cup. So the new calendar would run until June 44th. Then we can continue as before. That should give everyone a bit or a rest. This is why I should be running the country, you see.

Lol

You know I can cope with this heat in the daytime but it’s the nighttime that is doing my head in as I struggle to sleep when it’s so damn muggy!

I won £25 on the PB's this month. Well happy :) but I am going to have to start thinking about investing in something that gives me a better return on investment one of these days!

I think it's the fact that I have the smallest chance ever of a big win that has stopped me from trading them in, but I know you are right and I will do!

Well Done!

Some people re-invest. Others take the money and put elsewhere. You are half the way to getting a MB pot to start MB.

The world is your oyster!
