Hi All,

Still going through the PA Sportsbook offers and finding my feet. Trying to access my Genting account to withdraw my winnings this evening and I cannot do anything because of a pop-up casino offer that I either have to accept or decline. As I am not on casino offers yet I have no idea of this a good offer or risk free or not and would really appreciate advice on whether a) it is worth doing and if it is worth doing b) what game I should be playing on/wagering. Cannot even view the full t&cs as when I click through for them the pop-up covers them again. Here is the offer copied and pasted:

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Sorry just to add I have just got the online chat to paste me the t&cs regarding my own cash deposit and I am highly confused. A little clarity would be great please! Here are the pasted terms (ignore all the 'Daves'!):

When you are credited with a bonus you may have two notional balances on your online account:-

Dave: 1. Your Bonus Balance; and

Dave: 2. Your Cash Deposit Balance

Dave: (e.g. in the event your supplement your online wallet with your own funds)

Dave: Where your online account balance is solely bonus funds, then your bonus balance is applied against bets made until (i) your balance is exhausted; or (ii) our minimum 50X wagering requirements are met, whichever comes first.

Dave: In the event that you place a winning bet, then:-

Dave: 1. Your Bonus Balance will stay at and not exceed the value of the initial bonus;

Dave: 2. The winnings are held as bonus winnings (“Bonus Balance Winnings”); and

Dave: 3. Neither 1 or 2 can be withdrawn until Minimum (50X) Wagering Requirements are met.

Dave: Where you have:-

Dave: 1. A bonus balance; and

Dave: 2. Your own cash deposit on your online account

Dave: Then:-

Dave: 1. For any bet you place, funds are deducted from your Cash Deposit Balance first;

Dave: 2. Winnings from bets placed using your Cash Deposit Balance will be credited to your online Cash Deposit Balance;

Dave: 3. If your Cash Deposit Balance reaches zero before our wagering requirements have been met then for bets that follow your Bonus Balance will be used and applied to meet our wagering requirements.

Dave: 4. Winnings from bets placed using the bonus (as well as the Bonus Balance) will be held as Bonus Balance Winnings. Bonus Balance Winnings will be used / applied against Minimum Wagering Requirements in the event that you Bonus Balance depletes to zero.

Dave: 5. Neither your Bonus Balance nor Bonus Balance Winnings can be withdrawn until our Minimum Wagering Requirements are met.

Dave: Note, as regards the above that your own cash deposit is not tied into this promotion and can be withdrawn in accordance with our online procedures, but any bonus funds or winnings may not unless Minimum Wagering requirements have been met.

Very confused as above it states that I cannot withdraw my cash deposit but then this last sentence above says my cash deposit is not tied in??????????????

My first reading is that a) your own cash is used first before any bonus is used b) you have 50x wagering (£2500). Typically slots is one of the few things that have a 100% contribution. Say you use a good RTP (Return to Player) slot of 97% (that is £2425 return - or a loss of £75 i.e. all the bonus and half your £50. However it is worse as you use all your £50 first, and then hope that the bonus doesn't go to zero any time during the wagering. So if I have read this right it is a definite avoid.

My personal rule of thumb is 10x wagering or less is worth a go (either on the bonus alone or on both your deposit and bonus), 20x wagering on the bonus alone is also worth a go. 20x wagering on both deposit and bonus suggests you will lose money (but as it is 20% of the deposit sometimes I will have a punt at it). Anything higher than 20x I typically avoid (unless it is a free bonus of course which is always worth a punt)

Key also is that casino offers are not risk free as the RTP works but only over very large volumes of transactions. There can be quite a large variance in returns from one player to the next which is why people always advise using a high RTP with max lines and min stakes to try and limit the variance
