Hi all,

I received this email from Utest who are looking for those who either own a Skoda car or can access one through family/friends or through renting. I have added the details below. I receive $100 for each referral so if you are interested in taking part in this project me (and my mortgage deposit fund) would really appreciate it if you could mention my name (Lyndsey Colgan) when filling out the survey form. Hope some of you find this opportunity of interest.

We are looking for testers who:
  • own a Škoda car (preferably)
  • have access to a Skoda car from a friend/family member
  • can rent a Škoda car

Car requirement:
  • To be equipped with a SmartLink+ board computer (if you are not sure, you can see the instructions in the survey on how to check this)

All you have to do is fill out the survey at this link: https://goo.gl/k3Xdhk (Please remember to mention my name as your referral, details above. Thanks)

Project Details:
  • Start Date: Already active
  • Payout: Between $20/h and $30/h depending on your location and car
  • Time needed: Approx. 2 hours per test. We test once or twice per month.

I have a Skoda, but it's a company car I can't use for personal use, but I do a lot of long distance driving for work. Does the nature of the testing mean I'd have to drive at times / to locations I wouldn't normally, or affect the car in ways my employer / car leasing company would know about?

From what I can gather you are basically testing an iOS or Android app via the usb port, I don't think you have to drive anywhere and I can't see how this would affect the car in any way. If you apply for the project you should be able to ask any questions you have before signing up.

Hope that helps :)
