Yeah i mean if I got rid of my car that is one of things I would worry about as we travel A LOT as our family is all around the UK!

Maybe I would just pay for a rental car for the weekend if I had to suddenly go somewhere long distance and the train prices were stupidly high (which they normally are!)
I don't have a driving licence, but if I did, it would be so that I can rent a car or a van. To visit Ikea for instance... or National Trust places at the weekend or during the bank holidays!

Yeah, the plan is to hire rentals if we need to. Local one is only 20 minutes down the road plus many now deliver.

We're away in June for a weekend and it'll only cost £100 to hire one for 4 days (not the cheapest) which is a heck of a saving on £435+ insurance etc
