I'm still a beginner with most of this stuff so I thought I'd record how I get on here. In my day job I'm a self employed part time "bean counter" and teach new beancounters part time too (in two different role!); so I'm employed and self employed. (loads less hours teaching from Setpember)

I am planing to start a new blog around my journey too (wider than the money one here....). I have been blogging on and off for nearly 20 years and have had a pretty well read niche book review blog in my time.

So my initial target is £100 in August and £1,000 by the end of 2018. This is from extra income, not including current teaching/tutoring roles or bookkeeping clients. Let's see how this goes!

Any advice?

£1000 before the end of the year - no problem!

As soon as you start Matched Betting you will blast through that target with ease!!! (And also wish you had started it sooner!!)

Good luck - I think £1000 will be easy for you. I am going to join you in a challenge if that's OK. I've just ordered a new car and it wont be here until the end of September so I aim to make £2,250 - including this months money already made - by then. I'll do the same - no normal job salary included.

I've had a Swagbucks account for a really long time and when started reading about extra income online (not for the first time hence the old account!) logged back in a few weeks ago. I never did offers or surveys etc, I've only ever done polls, searches, swag codes and games. Just cashed out today as a £3 Amazon voucher.

So that 3/1000 for the year!!

It is! I needed about 100 SB to cash out so got those and will now quietly forget about Swagbucks.

£10 a day is quite achievable so £1000 by end of year is a good target.

I am not really getting on as fast as I would have liked! I have made my way up to £206.50 which is great as this is more than the zero I would have had!!

I have a new freelance thing starting in November which will be about £100 per week which will add about £700 by the end of the year

And all other stuff should add another £200.

Hopefully, end the year about £1,100 more than I would have had!

Big plans for 2019 - hoping the monetisation of blogging etc will kick in at some point in the year and at some point I will get past my matched betting blocks (they are all in my head!!)
