Is GlobalTestMarket an honest operation?

I've got to 905 Market Points, and since then I've been screened out or got a "survey closed" message for about 20 surveys in a row. It won't let me reach payout, which is at 1000 points.

Of those 20 surveys, most I've had to spend at least 5 minutes on. On one today, I got right to the end of a 15 minute survey, it was 97% complete and probably on the last question, when... "survey closed". I bet they used all the information and feedback I gave them though!

I smell something rotten here. It seems they started doing this as soon as I hit 900 points and was within $5 of the $50 payout. It's really upset me and I'm considering a campaign to out their practices if it continues any longer.

Always been sweet for me - had a few payouts. Katykicker is their biggest fan too - she gets at least 30 quid a month

I have been paid several times. A total of £180 so far so I like it. :)
Make sure your profile is up to date on the GTM website.
There are a few screen outs but it is no worse than other survey sites.

I'm a fan of GTM as well. Joined up last August and I've had 2 £40 Paypal payments so far and I'm well on the way to a 3rd.

I find screen outs tend to come in batches sometimes, but that's usually because they send a lot of surveys on similar themes out at the same time. I can't say I've ever noticed more screen outs the closer it gets to the redemption level.

Having said that, looking at the Paypal redemptions, the threshold for £25 is 906 market points, so you're actually just 1 point away from that. Probably just coincidence though.

Well, it was your reply on this topic that made me try it: http://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?topic=2061.0

So I'm not exactly high on trust right now.

I'm about ready to go to war with GTM actually. I can take partial credit for taking down Bubblews, though they're still barely functioning. One more day of this and I'll start on GTM.

20 surveys, several hours of wasted time, and pages of useful customer feedback, reviews, and answers that they've no doubt used tells me that 1 point probably isn't a coincidence.

I am on 550 points so far and hope they are okay - I have only heard good things about the site but can't vouch for it as I haven't cashed out yet! :D

Regarding Bubblews, I spent a lot of time on reviews, articles, blogs, complaints, facebook groups, other campaign groups, scam detection sites, and probably many other places. All I had to do was tell the truth in as many places as possible and write some good anti-Bubblews articles that got a lot of traffic. A job well done. They must have lost far more than what they robbed from me. Justice, I'd say!

But looks like you could be wrong here about GTM

Work from home sector is rocky enough at times I think lol

Could be. I'm giving them another day, but it's pretty clear to me already.

Please yourself.
I like the site and I earn money from it.
You send them a lengthy email to have a whinge at them.

Bad advice. That won't get me anywhere.

GTM is definitely one of the better survey sites out there. :)
It consistently pays me and plenty of others.
Some people just stay away from survey sites completely because they don't like getting constantly screened out.
There is no guarantee with survey sites that you will qualify for all of their surveys and how much you will earn. That is all dependent on your
demographics.
If I did not enjoy surveys and was constantly getting screened too much I would just leave and not bother.

Easy for you to say. I would like to walk away, but it's difficult when you've spent ten hours, got 905 points, and are so close to a payout. I think they know that though.

If I was being screened out so much at the start, I would have already walked away. It's happening 10x more than usual now since I've gotten close to the payout. I think they know that too. I mean, have I suddenly become 10x less likely to meet the demographics of their surveys? That would be a stretch. In fact, I doubt I'll ever get to complete a survey on that site again if I only need "1 point" to reach payout lol.

I only fill in surveys they email me about. I've been screened out a few times before. Of course it's frustrating. Now it's every time, and it also always seems to take 10-15 minutes of answers about their various products before it exits mysteriously, or says "survey closed" before the last question so I don't get paid. I bet they get paid for selling my answers though.

Just about had enough. War paint at the ready

If you have spent 10 hours in total earning $50 (£33 quid) then you need to step away from surveys and the green site and have a real look at the opportunities on this site (I would suggest starting with the toolkit on the blog as well)

I do intend to step away, but not until I've made them pay, one way or another. I've already looked at the toolkit. It was quite helpful.

Good stuff - use what's on there and there's nothing stopping you earning above minimum wage with the likes of leapforce

The reason a lot of the diaries on here has people earning £500-£1000 a month is because they have to let go of the lesser paying stuff and spend more time (or the time they do have available) on whatever is going to pay them the most
