In fact, I doubt I'll ever get to complete a survey on that site again if I only need "1 point" to reach payout lol.

Can I point out that, although you need 1 point to claim a Paypal payout of £25, you already have more than enough to claim £20 (725pts), £15 (544pts), £10 (363pts), or £5 (182pts), so you've already crossed 4 payout thresholds without any problems.

As I say, I've used GTM since August without any problems and I'm pretty much 100% sure you will reach 906pts (& beyond if you want - I've reached 1,449pts for £40 twice so far) if you stick with them.

Having said that, I do understand/share your frustration at the screen outs. :(

When I go to redeem, it says I need at least 1000 points in my account to use the shopping basket. Yes, there are rewards that cost less, but I can't use them until I have 1000 points in there.

-EDIT- The exact message is: "Sorry, your cart total does not meet the minimum points to redeem. Your cart must total 1,000 MarketPoints or more. You will need to select additional items or vouchers to reach the required minimum."

The screen-outs have always been frustrating. It's just the 10-fold increase right when I'm getting close to the payout that is making me annoyed and very suspicious.

Anyway, I managed to complete a survey this evening for the 1st time in 3 days. Still can't redeem until 1000 points though it looks like. Just want to be done with this.

Yep, has to be over 1000 points. Good luck reaching it.. GTM is a fantastic site for me and I usually earn £30-60 at least a month.

I have been a member of GTM for a while now, and I've noticed since the New Year that I haven't had as many survey invites as previously. I just went looking to see if they had a page on Facebook (just to see if anyone else was commenting on lack of surveys), and a few people on there are asking if it is true that GTM is closing in March. GTM hasn't answered any of these posts, but I just wondered if anyone on here had heard that?

I haven't had an email. I'm currently in a long running product trial with them, that runs well past March.

Seems to me it would be a scam designed to get people to click a link to sign in somewhere and therefore give away their account details.

Hopefully you're right. I haven't heard anything from them either, I've just had fewer surveys than usual, which I was putting down to a post-festive lull.

The email that the person received is from info@info.globaltestmarket.com which they claim is the usual email.

That is the usual email but a lot of people don't understand that you can name your title at the beginning of an email absolutely anything.

My email could read Katykicker <katykicker@katykicker.com> or it could read Massive Bitch <Katykicker@Katykicker.com>

Both of which would be valid emails for me lmfao.

Does anyone know how to see the estimated time for each survey number?

I used to use the app as it listed all available surveys with points and times. But now the app only lists surveys that offer sweepstakes for some reason. I've tried reinstalling but still wont update. Is there another way?

Since I recently signed up I've had sooo many survey invites that I can't keep up with them all. I want to spot the too long or not worth it ones :)

They appear to have done away with this. I've been meaning to speak to market research society about this as I thought the fees had to be upfront from the off. It's rather annoying and I've just been sticking to the higher paying ones on email now. Sometimes at the end it shows you another survey at the end. The times don't seem to indicate much to do with the length of survey, it is more the amount of marketpoints I find.
Sorry I can't help more.

I used to have a lot of invites from GTM but they have definitely decreased lately. I am not at all paranoid about my age but I hit 46 less than a month ago so wonder if that is the reason?
All the survey sites seem really quiet for me actually but I don't know whether it is my age or if it's just the time of year?
Anyone else having a quiet time with surveys or is it just me? ??? ???

GTM surveys have slowed down for me a bit too lately.
It is a shame you cannot see the length of the surveys now.
Just means you hape to click though to the start to what the survey is worth and how long it will take.
Could be it is a quieter time over the summer anyway.
