Google Analytics issue

Hi all,
I set up Google Analytics in early 2018. However, I noticed that since the start of 2018 it's showing hardly any page views/sessions - like a huge drop off from before that time.

The strange thing is that it's still showing SOME users, but very few. But there's been affiliate activity, so period must have visited at some point.

I've checked the settings in GA, just wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues?

If you go into LIVE on google analytics can it see when people are on the site in real time?

It not you may need to reinstall your ga plugin on Wordpress or however you have inserted your GA- code into your site

It's showing live users now. But users and sessions dropped off to like 0 from the end of Nov 18/start of Dec 18.

Does google webmaster tools show if you are coming up for many searches?

As long as you are getting affiliate money through the site that’s the important thing

Yeah the Google search console is showing that I appeared in searches for 2Up, DDHH, casino etc.

Right so you are getting traffic then and like you said GA live shows people being on your site

Could it just be that nov / dec was a bit crap traffic wise for the obvious reasons

Could well be. Need to get in gear for 2019 now! New ideas, features and benefits needed.

I keep faffing around with potential new themes and getting images resized etc.

Lots to do these next few weeks!
