Interesting research you are doing here firehose. There is a danger in this though - That you will draw up a huge list of things which will guarantee your account never to get gubbed; but it will also severely limit the offers you do and the profit you can extract from the free bets.

but let's see.....

How long did you manage to keep your account open? - around 8 months I think.
Did you do accumulators? - Yes, occasionally.
Did you play on their casino games as mentioned by Jon? - Yes
What was your ratio of mug bets to free offer bets? - I tried to make every other bet a mug bet.
Did you bet on a 'favourite' football team or was it a different team each week? - Different teams.
Did you watch the horse race/bet event when it was being streamed from the website? - No
Did you ever bet in-game? Occasionally, but only when a free bet required it.
Did you ever bet on their mobile app? Occasionally, but only when a free bet required it.

You may be on to something with those last two as I hadn't considered that before. Thinking back, the only time I did any mobile or in play bets was when a bonus or free bet needed it.

Interesting thread, seems that getting a 'mixed' profile (slots etc) is worth it to neutralise the risk of not being gubbed - will bear this in mind.

That's a strange one. They actively solicited Matched Bettors, and don't seem to have an issue as long as you do the 10 x £10 bets in a week.

Well I've only placed one bet, well two; a football game (can't think now) which gave a free £10 on Man City v Man Utd. I won £16 into the bookies.

I haven't got the link, I think it was a post on PA where someone had got an email, but it was back in Aug/Sept last year. I joined then and have been able to do the 10 bets every week so far.

Hi all, new member here and I've really enjoyed this thread.

As a previous bookie (quite a few years ago now before internet bets took off) it is really nice to see how it all works. There were people who would come in to my shop and I would class them as 'really lucky' but they've obviously done this and worked out a system to win. Absolutely love it.
