As the name suggests, money transfer is sending from one currency to another. You're going to create an account in another currency to allow you to send from one account you have to another so you end up receiving your own money you send.

These are referrals are fantastic if you have a partner to refer and you will end up tripling how much you earn than just doing it on your own!

I recommend completing the guide in the order it's presented (i.e get a Transferwise account first, then join Skrill etc then work your way down) as the first referral is the easiest to do.

I then recommend sending to Belgium for all referrals. Belgium uses Euros so the first thing to do is set up a Transferwise account in Euros. So always:

FROM: £100 GBP / UK from your UK bank card.TO/RECIPIENT: Belgium to your Transferwise account in Euros.

Don’t do this at the weekend as some of the companies give you a bad FX rate as they don’t know what the market will reopen at on Monday. To maximise returns do this during weekdays

Transferwise Euro account (£10 from me)
(there's no referral bonus for this, but if you sign up through my link and transfer the equivalent of £200 from one currency to another, I will pay you £10

Transferwise referral link

Once you clicked one of the links above, register to join.

After registering, I recommend downloading the Transferwise app that you can find on your app store or Google Play store.

Make sure you have opened a new balance and chosen the Euro option via the app. Once you've done this, your app should look like this pic: 1592551003693.png

Then if you click "Euros", it should ask you to verify yourself which is quick to do and they usually agree to your verification in under an hour.

Lastly, move 20 euros into your Transferwise account. There may be a small charge to do this if you move 20 euros into your account by sending it from your UK bank card but you still profit once you've finished my guide so please don't worry about this charge.

Now you've got your Euro Transferwise set up, you can do each of the money transfers below.

Skrill £10

Skrill is a money transfer service allowing you to send money abroad. You need to send £100 to a bank account in another currency.

  1. Choose to send £100. Make sure the "from" is in pounds sending from the UK (this'll be using your UK bank card). Then the recipient you're sending to should be the country that your foreign bank account is in (e.g. if you have a Belgium transferwise account choose Belgium and it'll be in Euros).
  2. Give them your card details of your UK bank to send from as well as the IBAN/SWIFT/BIC of your Transferwise account (this can be found by going onto the "bank details" section on of your Transferwise account - like in this video).
  3. You should be given a £10 discount meaning you actually send £90 in the end but you still receive one hundred pounds worth of Euros.
  4. You usually get your money within 24 hours into your Transferwise. Then you can send it back to your UK bank card.
Skrill Referral link

Azimo £10

The exact same process as Skrill above so I won't type it all out again in detail. Send £100 coming from GBP/UK using your UK bank card and send it to Belgium arriving in your Euro Transferwise account. You'll get an option to apply a £10 discount code bringing it down to sending £90 in the end but still receiving one hundred pounds worth of Euros.

When the money arrives in your Transferwise account you can send it back to your UK bank card.

Azimo referral link

World Remit £20

This one works slightly differently.

  1. Select £100 from UK/GBP using your UK bank card and sending to Belgium to your Euro Transferwise account.
  2. World Remit will ask for a Belgium phone number - I just used my normal number but it started with their +32 area code. This worked for me & worked for everyone I invited so do the same.
  3. When you see a grey promo code box on your right, put in code 3free. This means you don't pay the fee of sending money GBP £ to Euros.
  4. Go ahead and complete the transaction. You won't receive your £20 discount for this transfer yet (explained below).
Then 5-10 days later you will receive an email with ANOTHER promo code. You then do the same process of sending £100 to Euros however this time rather than using the 3free code i told you above, instead you use the code given to you in the email that'll arrive and this code gives you £20 off (so when you type in to send £100, it'll bring it to £80 but you'll still get one hundred pounds worth of Euros).

Don't forget to keep checking your emails or better yet set up a reminder for 5-10 days time to check your emails for this second code to get your £20 discount. Warning: It may land in your junk/spam so check there as well as your main inbox.

World Remit referral link

Xendpay - £10

The fourth money transfer company.

FROM: £100 GBP / UK from your UK bank card.TO: Your Belgium transferwise account in Euros.Just before checkout, you then get a £10 discount which means you actually send £90 to yourself but you still get one hundred pounds worth of Euros.

Xend Pay referral link

TransferGo - £10 (I will pay £5 in addition to this)

Same process as the above, but you only have to transfer £50 for this one

You will need to pay 99p for the cheapest transaction rate, once the transaction has been completed TransferGo will ask you for you bank details to transfer the £10 reward

Transfer Go Referral Link

(I've run out of referrals on my link, which is why i'm using my partners, she only has 1 left. Once these have been used I will add someone else's referral link to the post on a first come first served basis)

Drop a comment if you need a hand and i'll be happy to help :)

I will look into this, once some one has done them all please provide some feedback.

i use world remit already for other business, and what i found is you get a discount on your TRANSFER FEES, not actual money added on top of your transfer.

so eg if youre sending £100 and the cost of sending would be £10, you will send the £100. and not pay the £10 transfer fee. if i'm wrong please let me know.

They all work slightly differently, but the codes are for a discount on the payment, not the fees. Apart form TransferGo who pay the bonus directly into your bank account. I will summarise them below -

For Skrill, Azimo & Xendpay they offer the £10 discount on the first payment i.e you pay £90 for £100 worth of euros (no fees are charged for these payments)

For Transfer Go you transfer £50 of Euros and then after the payment has been sent they ask for your sort code and account number to transfer the £10 directly to your bank account

For World Remit you make the £100 transfer, as these referrals only work for new customers you can use the code 3free to reduce the transfer costs to £0. About 5 days later they send you an email with a discount code worth £20. You can then just send a payment of £20, inputting the discount code will bring the cost down to £0, you don't need to send £100 for this one.

Tell me about it! They all asked me to verify myself, but to be fair the process was very quick for each one

I personally had no issues with any of them, but I used my traditional bank account. I did them for my partner as well and had no issues, but again she has a traditional bank account. I'm not sure if using a digital bank is causing it to flag in Xendpay's system or whether it could be Starling/Monzo stopping the transaction. I would probably go with the first option.

I will do it over the weekend and report back, these international transfers seem so much effort lol.

I'm doing Skrill and World Remit as I've done the others...

Maybe best not to do it over the weekend as BillGritchell pointed out that the exchange could be bad over the weekend period. I think I may give this a shot at the start of next week.

Yes definitely wait until Monday most of the companies offer you the same rate, but there were a couple that offered a slightly worse one. I honestly didn't think the process was long at all, as soon as i'd completed the first one and got the hang of what you needed to do I flew through the rest! Also, once you've set them all up if you have people you can refer then the process becomes extremely simple!

Just a quick update for anyone considering doing this.

I have completed them all apart from the Azimo one which for reasons unknown to me will not proceed and continues to tell me that the payment cannot be processed and when I contacted them I got a generic response about not being able to send to that bank account.

Aside from that it is rather straightforward. One thing to keep in mind though is the conversion charges from euros back into pounds on transferwise. I waited until I completed them all before converting the money to pounds and then withdrawing to my bank account. That way you pay as little in fees as possible.

I'm not sure how long they'll keep giving away money like this, but you might as well avail of it while you can.
