Hi all,
Just a tip that people might not know of :
If you give a bag of clothes in any H&M (the clothes don't have to be in good condition, it can be fabric in general such as old curtains), they give you a 5 pounds voucher. You have to spend at least 25 pounds to use that voucher and there's an expiry date but you have a few months to use it. The bag doesn't have to be big, you can use tesco bags, I filled up three and got three vouchers : )

Yes they still do this - although some stores won't accept more than one bag on a visit, and some will.

I have done this a few times. It can be clothes from any store and in any condition. They upcycle and recycle. It's a really good scheme, they just don't advertise it. It's all done through word of mouth.

Do they accept kids clothes? I have 3 bags of kids clothes at home, got no friends with small kids to give. They are in good condition

They accept anything. They never even check the bags. As long as you fill to the top. Anything they can't use gets recycled and as long as it is in a good condition they will either upcycle it or fix it (potentially if there was a small hole).

So yes kids clothes are fine.
