Same here.

Same here - I cant imagine circumstances when it would be acceptable to let a charity shop lose some of their profit so that you can gain. A car boot sale may be a different matter. It does make me smile though that when I have made a donation in a charity shop and then bought something I have been charged to have it put in the bag I made the donation in.

I did used to buy to resell, but I was buying items in poor condition and restoring them which isn't the same as flipping underpriced items. I would never haggle in a charity shop, nor do I haggle at car boot sales.

I don't haggle in charity shops, but I do at car boots. Many car boot sellers these days are dealers and they expect you to haggle.

I don't haggle, as the ones I visit are usually supporting local charities.

Today, for example, I got Daisy a BIG toy for £4, that would have been £30 new, and it has batteries in. Also, I got 3 little baby grows and outfits for my nephew, for £1. You can't ask for cheaper than that really!!

Interesting thread. We have a huge amount of charity shops in the small town I live in, but I would never haggle, the charities need all the money they can get. That said there are only a few charity shops I go into, the prices in most of them have gone ridiculous, and the prices are not far off the original shop prices. I don't agree with this so the one's that charge a reasonable price always get my business.
